The clock went off this morning, and as much as I was hoping it wasn't so, it turns out that it is, in fact, back to reality today after an amazing long fun-filled weekend. We were lucky enough to have had the most amazing weather and I loved every second of it!
Went to see gLee Live on Friday and it was SPECTACULAR! As you could probably imagine if you've ever seen the TV show, these people can perform! They are so incredibly talented and they made for the perfect way to start off the holiday weekend.
Saturday we drove out to Long Island for a BBQ and Sunday we were back in the city to see American Idiot on Broadway. And that was quite the performance as well. If you like Green Day or even just a great musical, I highly recommend that you go see it if you're in NYC and looking for a Broadway fix. The rest of the weekend was rounded out with lots of al fresco dining and a ton of fun. It was the perfect kick off to what I hope will be an amazing summer! And while we're speaking summer, I wanted to wish you all a happy June!
Back to reality today and hello to a pretty busy, albeit short week. I'll be flying out tonight to Minnesota again for business and won't be back to NY until Thursday. Busy but I don't mind. It'll be the weekend before I know it :)

Oh and I forgot to mention, we also booked one of our summer vacations for over the 4th of July! We're going to Bermuda! Can't wait!!!

Oh, I feel a bit bad now that I spent most of my weekend lying on the sofa watching tennis players fighting it out at Roland Garros in Paris. But then, sometimes one just needs some chill-out time... I have to say, i also had the most amazing time in the city over the weekend! The weather was just amazing and walking around, going to dinner and then out was just fantastic.. i didn't want to leave!!! One day, i will move back there, i just must! :)
