Of course I'm a little bit tired today because I stayed up late but it was well worth it. Mornings like this call for a little sweetness and lot of caffeine. The perfect way to ease into the week ahead.
How about all of you? How was your weekend? Did you watch the Oscars? What did you think?
xoxo

Exhausting and I took a three day weekend! Three birthday parties, shopping, wedding planning and not a night at home... Started the week with lots of caffeine also! Sal x
ReplyDeleteHi Dawn,
ReplyDeleteI did not watch the Oscars, but look forward to seeing the glamour and the gowns.
Have a beautiful new week, dear friend

ReplyDeleteI have to see The King's Speech! I didn't watch the Oscars but really wanted to.
ReplyDeleteMy weekend was really nice - went horse riding and walked in the forrest:)
Have a nice, stunning week!
Happy SUNDAY dollie, hehehe....glad you had a great weekend....my day off today will be filled with relaxing...and grocery shopping, fun. lol:)
ReplyDeleteI love the pops of green in this post! So fresh... perfect way to start a Monday! xo
ReplyDeleteIt's a 3-day weekend here in Spain, so still chilling. I had to record the Oscars (because of time-zone differences), so will relax and watch it today. Really pleased Colin Firth did well. As a fellow Brit I always felt he was a little under-estimated.
ReplyDeleteI stayed up late, too, although just from nerves or whathaveyou. This morning I head out to hang a small photographic show of mine in a regional art center. I would love to be as elegant as that last picture as I sip my coffee.
ReplyDeleteCould these photos be any more perfect? It's like you always know my favourite things and always inspire me in the most beautiful way. Macarons and tea look delightful right now, and love those sunglasses too! Happy Monday Dawn. :)

ReplyDeleteok well if you must know I had too much wine and port at 3pm in the afternoon at a friends place so I was useless last night. I managed to watch the red carpet and then packed for my trip and I completely missed the show :(

Oh how I wish today was a mellow Monday for me… instead it’s a frantic frenzy! No Oscars for me BUT they are DVR’d… I gave into the hubs and allowed him to watch the Heels play ball… boo! I hope you enjoyed your relaxing weekend… why do they go so fast?!
ReplyDeleteThe weekend has some not so fun events (like computer crashing...but it is getting better!), but loved the Oscars last night. It was a great way to end the evening - and I was happy with most of the wins, always making it more fun! Hope you are having a fabulous start to your week!
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
B
I know how you feel. I'm a little wiped out from staying up to watch it, but I was so happy The King's Speech won! I've been dying to see it, and my suite mate told me it was amazing. And I almost though it'd lose out to Inception or The Social Network! Lovely pictures as always!
ReplyDeleteWatching the Oscars was a great way to end the weekend :)

Mellow-yellow monday - sweats and tea! Didn't watch the Oscars, but love to hear about it now. Very pretty pix here!
ReplyDeletePer usual, I loved watching the Oscars, but I thought the hosting was a little...weird. Anne especially was just not what I expected. In any case, I'm with you -- I could definitely use a bit of tea and some Laduree macarons this morning!
ReplyDeleteglad I watched the Oscars but I really was bummed that AH annoyed me so much- oh well.
ReplyDeletehello!!
ReplyDeletei watched the king's speech on friday and it was SO SO GOOD!
I had fun tweeting about Oscars with you and others last night :) The first pic with Diane looks lovely :)
ReplyDeleteI don't watch the oscars or any awards shows. which makes me feel weird to admit. do love to see recaps of the fashion though.
ReplyDeletethese photos are lovely, as usual, Dawn!
I was so glad the King's Speech won too! It is one of my favorite things to do, sit on the couch and watch all the pretty dresses! xo
ReplyDeletedidnt watch it, but loved seeing some of the beautiful dresses!
ReplyDeleteOf course I watched the Oscars. I loved the red carpet and some of the dresses were absolutely gorgeous but the show and the hosts disappointed. I had such high expectations for Anne and James Franco.
ReplyDeleteI MUST go see the Kings Speech after watching the Oscars!! Sounds pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteHi my darling! I am so glad you had such a nice weekend! Mine was filled with lots of wedding planning and Oscar watching :)
