Rain, Rain, Go Away

Good morning lovelies! How is your week so far? It's been grey and rainy for days with no end in sight so I'm thinking of some little pick me ups to get me through the week. Since staying indoors isn't an option I think I'll rely on flowers and sweets to cure the rainy day blues.

Despite the dreary weather I did have a bit of sunshine in my week so far. I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Christine of Bijou and Boheme and Nichole of Parlour yesterday for a few drinks and a bite to eat and had such an amazing time. I love getting to meet the amazing ladies behind the blogs. It's one of my favorite and one of the most rewarding part of blogging.

    Ahhh, same dreary weather here and it is seriously impeding my blogging - how can I take a decent photo of a room when it looks so grey?? Great photos though; I am loving blush pink.

    It's sunny and warm here, but those pick me ups still sound good. :) I'm sure it was nice to meet the lovely ladies and you're right, it's one of the most beautiful parts of blogging. :)

    for some reason, the weekends are always cold and dreary but the weekdays brighten and warm up!! my husband and i took the day off for our anniversary yesterday (on a weekday) and it was just perfect! :)

    Weather.com is just depressing... full 10 days of some sort of rain/cloud cover/ storm. We turned to home made skillet pizza with bacon, goat cheese, caramelized onions, arugula, and fried egg and of course wine for comfort last night!

    Those blush colored flowers are definitely putting me in a better mood! Here in Las Vegas it has been uncharacteristically windy and cold for the beginning of summer. If there's one thing I don't enjoy about weather it has to be wind. Hope it brightens up for you soon!

    I would love to meet more ladies from the blog world but it seems that they either live too far away or im just too busy to head to the near by ones. Im sick of this rain too...but it has me thinking of those in the deep south hoping they're alright.

    Macaroons always brighten a day. Rain is a pain, but I'll take it on a weekday over a weekend any day of the week! Unfortunately, my hair is unable to work well rainy on weekday or end. :) Ballet bun it is.

    Ugh, it's been gray and rainy here too with no end in sight either. I swear, it's like it's raining all over the world - all the blogs I follow have been saying the same thing!

    And I agree, meeting bloggers, even virtually, and forming bonds is one of the best parts of blogging.
