Good morning lovelies! How is your week so far? It's been grey and rainy for days with no end in sight so I'm thinking of some little pick me ups to get me through the week. Since staying indoors isn't an option I think I'll rely on flowers and sweets to cure the rainy day blues.
Despite the dreary weather I did have a bit of sunshine in my week so far. I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Christine of Bijou and Boheme and Nichole of Parlour yesterday for a few drinks and a bite to eat and had such an amazing time. I love getting to meet the amazing ladies behind the blogs. It's one of my favorite and one of the most rewarding part of blogging.Hope you all have a lovely day and sending lots of sunshine your way, lovelies! xoxo

We had a thunderstorm here in Tokyo today!!! The clouds looked quite threatening. I would love to meet my bloggie friends!
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope I'm next! A visit to the city is long overdue. I too am sick of the rain.... I'd rather have it now then in the summer. How are your peonies holding up? xo
ReplyDeleteI wish the sunshine would come back!! I want to see more roses, daffodils, and roses springing up randomly everywhere! =) That's awesome that you got to meet some of the lovely ladies of blogger. =)

Ahhh, same dreary weather here and it is seriously impeding my blogging - how can I take a decent photo of a room when it looks so grey?? Great photos though; I am loving blush pink.

We had a dreary day yesterday - can be blah, but its nice to have an excuse to curl up inside with some coffee and magazines! :)
ReplyDeleteYaay to meeting new people! I haven't yet any bloggers in real life but some other internet fridnds yes ^_^
ReplyDeleteI love rain! Especially in summer when it's not so cold to go out for a walk in the rain! x

Such a gorgeous post! Urgh! Can we please just all go to a French countryside and hang out and pick flowers all day long?

for some reason, the weekends are always cold and dreary but the weekdays brighten and warm up!! my husband and i took the day off for our anniversary yesterday (on a weekday) and it was just perfect! :)
ReplyDeleteWeather.com is just depressing... full 10 days of some sort of rain/cloud cover/ storm. We turned to home made skillet pizza with bacon, goat cheese, caramelized onions, arugula, and fried egg and of course wine for comfort last night!
ReplyDeleteTwo amazing women + food and drinks = AWESOME SAUCE for your week (c: Enjoy the weather while you can, it is 100 degrees here in Phoenix and it's only MAY!!! We are in so much trouble this summer...
ReplyDeleteThese photos brightened up this dreary day!
ReplyDeleteThose blush colored flowers are definitely putting me in a better mood! Here in Las Vegas it has been uncharacteristically windy and cold for the beginning of summer. If there's one thing I don't enjoy about weather it has to be wind. Hope it brightens up for you soon!
ReplyDeleteI've just arrived home and had to pop over to say how much I loved meeting you- our cocktail hour was absolutely a highlight of my trip and you're even more fabulous in person than I imagined! xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt's raining here too my luv... It took everything to get outta bed this morning :( Sounds like such a nice time to meet up with fellow bloggers... esp. over some dranks! Hope you get some sun in your day tomorrow! XO
ReplyDeleteLove those pictures! And I love your blog! I'm proud to be your newest follower! Hope you'll check out my blog and consider following me too :)

we had rain last night and may have more tonight, but the day was clear which made it more bearable :) hope your week is going well!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to meet more ladies from the blog world but it seems that they either live too far away or im just too busy to head to the near by ones. Im sick of this rain too...but it has me thinking of those in the deep south hoping they're alright.
ReplyDeleteMacaroons always brighten a day. Rain is a pain, but I'll take it on a weekday over a weekend any day of the week! Unfortunately, my hair is unable to work well rainy on weekday or end. :) Ballet bun it is.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great time with Christine Nichole!
xoxo, tamra
Meeting bloggers is so fun! And I totally second the rain go away. I am done with this dreariness.
ReplyDeleteUgh, it's been gray and rainy here too with no end in sight either. I swear, it's like it's raining all over the world - all the blogs I follow have been saying the same thing!
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree, meeting bloggers, even virtually, and forming bonds is one of the best parts of blogging.
sunshine is truly around the corner honey, I can see it peeking at you, making fun but don't despair she will come out real soon to have lots of summer fun!!! TK xx
ReplyDeleteLove those pictures!
