Summer Kick Off!

Hi loves! Happy Friday! And happy long weekend to those who are celebrating Memorial Day on Monday!  I want to thank all of you so very much for all of the amazing book recommendations yesterday.  You are all obviously a very well read group and now you've motivated me to become more like you!  I'll be ordering quite of few of these to start me off.  Thank you, thank you!

We're heading on out to the beach house this afternoon to celebrate the {unofficial} start of summer with friends all weekend long. Looking forward to long sunny days, spectacular sunsets and dancing on the water at night.  If you feel like seeing some of the fun, you can follow along on twitter and instagram :)

    Have a wonderful Memorial Weekend Dawn! Sounds like you're going to kick off a great summer! Sadly it's raining here, but a little change in the weather (as long as it doesn't last too long) is always nice. I have to scroll down and see the book recs, I'm in the market for some new reading.

    I missed the book recommedations, so will see what else everyone has been reading lately... I just finished Beach Babylon (by Imogen Edward-Jones & Anonymous)- absolutely brilliant, humorous inside info on island life of a 6 star resort!

    Enjoy - sounds perfectly relaxing. We have baseball tournaments all weekend long but when the sun is out and you are watching your boy play a game he love it is the best time.

    I'm a day late on a book recommendation, but I'm currently reading/loving The American Heiress by Daisy Goodwin and next up is New York by Edward Rutherford (a historical fiction about New York from the Dutch on). Both were recommended to me.

    Have fun Dawn! It was girls night out for me last night (to kick off the weekend festivities :) Tonight is a dinner party at one of my favorite restaurants and tomorrow we are hosting a HUGE party for my daughter and some of her friends (all NFL cheerleaders and they can pack away the food :) I think I'm already feeling a headache from the wine!

    I love that Brigitte Bardot influenced bathing suit in the first pic:) I saw a simular bikini at Lindex the other day...I think I gonna buy it.
