Happy Tuesday, sweets! How's the week treating you so far?
I don't know about you, but sometimes it gets a little bit depressing to have to sit in an office all day without getting to experience the beautiful days that take place outside the four walls that I so affectionately call my cave. I do have amazing weekends but the weekdays are spent in a windowless office so I don't even get to see daylight the majority of the week. And I know I'm not alone because I've heard others say similar things to me.
So today I wanted to bring a bit of the outdoors in and give you all a taste of what it just might be like outside. And if it's not really this nice out wherever you're living, you can dream right along with me. :)
Enjoy the day, loves! Hope it's a beautiful sunny one!
xoxo

I have windows in the office, but it is still a cave as I feel a captive some time. The weather outside is just to beautiful to stay indoors, but if the duty calls you, what other changes you have, Dawn? Blog about outdoor activities, of course :*
ReplyDelete*chances (OMG)
ReplyDeleteThe weather does not help at all at the moment here! So your cocktail image is quite refreshing! - makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Hi Dawn,
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are amazing and make me feel like taking a nice long vacation! I can look outside the window, but feel as trapped as you :)Happy Tuesday! xoxo
Amazing photos..
ReplyDeleteWould love to be in a place like that right now. Looks very relaxed. Thankyou for this great post, I hope you will have a great week.

That's tough not to have a window. Perhaps one day they will move to a bigger space and you will get yourself that window office. Thank Goodness you have your Fridays off and the beach house to go to. If you stuck me in a windowless room full of cosmetics I would probably be happy indoors! xo
ReplyDeleteWould love an outside like this!! It's marvelous. Love the flowers, they are wonderful. I hope the work day goes by quickly, so you can get outside!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteLittle lady, I hear ya... weekdays are always depressing and I can't imagine a windowless office... sounds like a deep dark cave! Sounds like your place of work needs to go through a renovation and move towards "open work space" so you all can enjoy the sunshine or clouds... but a taste of the outside is always a must for anyones happiness! :) Hang in there sweets, only a few more days left of the week!
ReplyDeleteWindowless offices...I shudder! The pictures are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOwning a business gives me the chance to have a flexible schedule and I can enjoy the beautiful summer days more often than I used to when I had a 9-to-18 job. Luckily the days are long and maybe you can enjoy the after-work hours too. :)

I SO SO know what you mean - this is my problem all the time - I get disheartened at least once a week when I want to be outside or doing anything else than working in 4 closed walls. Hope your Summer is going well though - you will have moved to teh Summer house by now yes? :)

Amazing photos! Those drinks look so refreshing. I agree, being inside all day is not at all fun but it does make the weekends that much more enjoyable. Happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteDarling...I couldn't relate more to this! :) I have a windowless office as well! :) Thanks so much for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteSo true! Oftentimes I don't even know what the weather is during the day and night because I'm inside. I love being outside, in nature particularly. Alas, when it is 100 degrees, I'm definitely grateful I'm indoors.
ReplyDeletei dream of being able to work for myself one day, so i can work outside during the summer months... ahh how i love to dream :) xx
ReplyDeleteI love the watermelon and cucumber water, and I want that lingerie set at the top! My treatment/exam room has a laser, so NO windows allowed...
ReplyDeleteBy lunch time I need air and I always go out, even if it's just for a few minutes.
Enjoy your day!
leslie
Loving it. Enjoy the day. xx
ReplyDeleteI so understand this-- I spend my days in other people's homes, so best case scenario there are windows etc, but still, sometimes you just wish you could be outside. There's nothing more torturous for me to be working on organizing a basement on an especially gorgeous day! Loving these images xox
ReplyDeleteBeautiful inspiration pictures!!
ReplyDeleteThanks once again for the bit of inspiration . . .

OH! You absolutely have me wanting to head outside. While I do work from home I am still feeling cut off from the world! Alas the wireless internet is keeping me tethered to the indoors.... may have to talk to the condo association about adding wireless to the rooftop!
ReplyDeleteThe best thing to do is to make sure you get out at least for half an hour every day even just to take a walk outside your office. It will feel great.
ReplyDeleteOh yes - I am totally with you. I at least sit by a window so can look out and see trees, but would much rather be out frolicking in the sun!
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
B
these pics def make me want to run outdoors!
ReplyDeletep.s. its my turn to head to the beach next week - woohoo!
I'm reading this as I look outside my window... It's such a beautiful day... Maybe a trip to the bank is in order... Haha!
ReplyDeleteI'm dreaming of beautiful beach weather! It's still almost 2 weeks until we go, but mentally I think I'm on vacation :)

I feel your pain - so hard to be indoors all day, especially when the weather is beautiful. I'm enjoying this bit of the outdoors :) Hope you're doing great, Dawn! xo

Beautiful! I"m totally with you...so hard to be inside. Although sadly...it's gloomy here in San Diego today!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I have a pretty amazing view of the Harbor when I look outside my office window. Nothing beats fresh air though!
ReplyDeleteIts supper hot here and I will totally love to throw those cocktails down my trachea
ReplyDeleteRefreshing a 30 something degrees Celsius over here.
Have a great rest of the week dear.
Beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteWell, this certainly was prettier than the actual day outside! :) Rain, rain go away, right?
ReplyDeleteI can understand how much you love your weekends when you're indoors most of the week. I'm finding it hard to come inside when it's sunny to sit at my desk and work!
Hope you get some outside time this week!
xx Elizabeth
Gorgeous pictures, AW! I usually try to eat outside at lunch, which eases some of my summer blues, but it's been so rainy here that it hasn't happened this week. Boo. Hopefully the weather picks up. Hope you get some time in the sunshine, too. xo style, she wrote

Such lovely photos :) Sometimes a vase of flowers help brighten up the office indoors!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty images, I've been there too - the sight of fluoro lights is enough to make me sick! But least the other amazing thing I stared at were new samples all the time!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have some good images on your screensaver at work!

I'm in an office all day long too and YES I go crazy. On beautiful days I want to be outside enjoying the fresh air and sunshine and on cold winter days I want to be home on my cozy couch. I can't win! :)
