Monday Mornings

Good morning, loves! Happy Monday and welcome to a brand new week! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

It was my first non beach weekend in 2 1/2 months and do you wanna know what? I really did enjoy it. There is life off of Fire Island after all :)

But of course it really did go a bit too quickly for my taste though. And now J is headed out of town for 5 days so I have a feeling this is going to be a long lonely week. At least I have all of you to keep me company though :)

Have a wonderful day, sweets!

xoxo

  8. i do the long distance thing all the time and, rather than dwelling on being apart, i try to use the time to be as girly as possible -- lots of baths, candles everywhere, girly films, reading magazines, white wine, chocolate... i could go on. it's quite fun actually :) xx

  14. You HAVE fit the description of beach girl perfectly this summer, Dawn! I've looked at your instagram pics with a bit of envy each weekend this summer, as I have been working away at the house! My travel to fun places has been curtailed a bit this year with all of the house renovation projects and it makes me want to take an autumn jaunt maybe in September! Happy Monday, sweets! xox Sandy

  16. We're all here Dawn! I hope you had over the weekend lady... Non beach weekend huh? Was the city busy?

I woke up this morning with a super random thought and thought you might be able to answer...
If you have been using say a face cream by a top brand for years and years or rather - haven't changed your beauty regime in years (from using the same products) - do they end up not working to their full potential? Should you switch products every now and again?
    See, totally random thought/Q!!! :)

    Have a brilliant week!

  24. I never like it when my husband travels... Well.. you can use the time to put on one of those really strange facial masks, or sleep with conditioner on your hair. You have your blog land friends to keep you entertained in the mean time!!

  34. It's always hard when the man is away! I even have my kiddos to keep me company, but it's just not the same! I guess you'll just have to squeeze in some retail therapy to cheer you up and pass the time, right? (c:
