End Of Summer Toast

Good morning, loves! Hope your week is off to a wonderful start.

The summer is winding down on over here and I've been doing everything possible to soak up the last few days of it. The past weekend sunning at the beach and then last night we went out for a lovely al fresco dinner to send the summer off in style. It's been such a wonderful summer and I'm sad to see it go but I'll always have the memories to cherish forever.

How are you all celebrating the end of the season?  Or are you already in full on fall mode? And for those of you lucky enough to be entering spring, I plan on living vicariously through you for the next half year or so :)

Enjoy the day, sweets!
xoxo

  6. I like that we actually seem to be easing into the fall instead of it just going from hot to chilly in an instant. I am looking forward to that crisp chill in the morning that will be coming soon :)

Hope you stay dry today Dawn!

  14. This past week we had a surge of high temps -- 110 degrees which is the hottest I have ever seen San Diego in all my days living here. Our heat wave was the longest ever this year, so I have to admit I'm ready for some cooler temps! Love these images so much!

  25. What a lovely way to celebrate the end of the summer; by a al fresco dinner, Dawn! Well, I am assuming this fall because we have no rain yet, but once the rain starts and the cold weather, then will be not that good! Have a lovely day :*

  26. We are fortunate to have change of seasons. Some states.. it's so subtle. I remember growing up in CA and it being 80 during around the holidays! Seattle has had a gorgeous summer. Yesterday it was in the low 80's.. Our green, lush forest is looking dry and I' sure rain will be here soon to replenish and clean things up. Ice and snow will follow.. with lots of darkness.

I'm so glad you are squeezing out every last bit of summer!

This is really a great reminder to savor these last few official days of summer. What a gorgeous week, now that the nasty storm has moved through!
