Hello Lovelies! It's Debby from Inspired Design. I think we can all agree that Dawn is the Queen of romance. It's safe to say that she is easily one of my favorite bloggers out there and I usually can't get over here quick enough in the mornings to see what loveliness she has in store for us all.

I adore the fact that Dawn celebrates femininity, revels in all the beauty life has to offer, and is as sweet as they come. After all, is there really anything better than being a woman? Magic happens when one slips on a beautiful dress, leaves the salon, or puts on that final coat of mascara. We are taken out of our every day realm and feel like Cinderella, if only for an instant.

Sayonara, Sweets!

Good morning, loves! And happy Friday to you all! So happy to be able to say hello to you this morning. It's been quite the struggle this week and I'm feeling quite privileged to get some computer time. Just wanted to pop on in and bid you adieu before I take off for my week long vacay to paradise. J & I are headed to a fabulous resort in Vieques and this trip couldn't have come at a better time.

I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend and a fabulous week ahead. And don't worry, I have left you in the most capable hands next week. I have some of the most incredible ladies lined up to take you through the week. And I'll also try to stop by if technology decides to be kind to me :)

Serene State

Happy Thursday, lovelies! Wow, what a week it's been so far. First with J's ER visit, then the computer decides to go on the fritz, all of this while I'm trying to get things wrapped up for our vacation next week. These things do not make for calm nerves, that's for sure.

Feeling the need for some serene time to relax & regroup so I can get everything taken care of.

Keep Calm

Good morning, lovelies! Hope you're all having a great week.

I apologize for not getting around yesterday. J was rushed to the emergency room with a possible case of appendicitis so I dashed out of work in a crazy panic. After 6 hours in the hospital we finally got the word that it's just a cyst. Luckily thing's are looking ok, but my nerves are pretty shot.

Promise to get around later today once things get a little closer to normal. In the meantime I just wanted to share some prettiness that's helping me calm down.

Morning Beauties!

Good morning, lovelies! How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun?

Mine was fabulous. Started it off just the right way Friday with the Lucky Shops NY VIP event. It was such a great time. A great crowd, fabulous free cocktails and an amazing selection of designer goods at up to 70% off retail. And yes, J & I did shop our little hearts out. Got 2 Foley & Corinna bags, a bracelet, a set of R.J. Graziano bangles, some earrings, and also got some fabulous free goodies. Thanks again to the lovely Audrey Allure for giving me the opportunity to attend. It really was such a fabulous night.

The rest of the weekend was equally as fun. We saw our 9 year old niece Saturday and Saturday night was chock full of celebrating with friends and family.

Now it's time to start the week, my last one before vacation next week so between the great weekend I had and the fun and excitement I have to look forward to I'm feeling mighty fine this morning.

Welcoming the Weekend!

Happy Friday, sweets! Are you guys as excited for the weekend as I am? I have a fun-filled packed one ahead of me!

Tonight I'm lucky enough to be attending the Lucky Shops VIP Event courtesy of the lovely Audrey Allure. I won her contest a few weeks ago and I've been bursting with excitement ever since!

Then tomorrow night I'll be hitting the town with my sister and brother-in law, aka BFFs, to celebrate my sissy's birthday which is today! Cannot wait for that one! Oh and I'll be sporting my latest purchase, the fabulous Zara sequinned clutch above. I've been dying for it for a while but despite searching high and low everywhere in store and online I couldn't find it. Thanks to Sabra from The Lonely Wife Project's help, it's finally mine!!!

What will you all be doing this weekend? Hope it's jam packed with fun like mine is :)

Oh and I just wanted to say happy birthday to my amazing sister and best friend Lisa today! She's the love of my life {well excluding J} and I celebrate today as if it were my own bday :)

Autumn in the City

Good morning, lovelies! Can't believe it's Thursday already. The week seems to be flying by. I just love weeks like that! :)

NYC is a fabulous place to live year round but in my opinion there's no better time than the fall. It's even more picturesque than usual with the kaleidoscope of changing leaves. Walks through Central Park are seriously a feast for the eyes.

And there's no better way to pass the time than by people watching over a cappuccino at a sidewalk cafe. NYers seriously bring it this time of year. The fashion parade is something to see!

And of course there's all of the excitement around the holidays. As of November the outdoor rinks are already open and that magical feeling is starting to fill the air.

I'm starting a new series today on The Alternative Wife. Love Her Look is where I will attempt to recreate the looks of some of the women I admire when it comes to style.

Of course I had to kick the series off with my favorite style icon, Olivia Palermo. Love her mixing of colors and she always pays close attention to proportion and fit. Love the slim fitting jeans with the tapered pea coat. And then there's that splash of print to tie it all together.
