Soaking up the Summer???

Good morning, loves! How are you all doing today? I'm doing great and loving every second of this gorgeous weather we're having. It seriously feels like summer.

Sandals and sundresses are out, people are sunbathing in the parks, and all of the restaurant patios are wide open and packed with some very happy people. Now I just hope it stays this way.

Hope you're all enjoying some lovely weather as well!

Hello Gorgeous!

Good morning, sweets! And happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Mine was amazing. Brunch, a pedicure and massage, a hockey game, and a Greek Easter celebration filled my weekend. And the weather was just gorgeous. It actually feels like summer and I'm soaking up every minute of it!

I know I mentioned Friday that I'd be announcing the winner of the Shopbop giveaway today but I'm sorry to say my weekend was so busy that I didn't get around to choosing a winner. I promise to announce the winner tomorrow. Sorry again!

Easter Take 2!

Good morning, sweets! And happy Friday! So happy the weekend is finally here. As you can tell from all my moaning and groaning this week, I'm particularly ready for it.

Seeing my family this weekend to celebrate Greek Easter. Lots of things to look forward to. Summer-like weather, it's going to be 80 on Sunday!, my Yia Yia & mother's delicious cooking and my father's amazing wine. He went deep into the wine cellar and already has some special bottles selected.

And I already have my summer dress picked out because I'm planning on spending a lot of time outside basking in the glorious weather.

So what do you all have planned? Whatever it is, I hope it's a fabulous one!

The Great Outdoors

Good morning, loves! Horray for Thursday! The weekend's almost here and I cannot wait this week. How come the week after a short week is always so hard to get through? Do you agree?

This weekend I'm looking forward to a bunch of things. Besides the usual, I can get more rest bit, I have a few other things to look forward to.

First is the weather. It's supposed to be gorgeous finally. It's been a bit chilly the past few weeks and I'm looking forward to being outside and rediscovering Spring. I was back in tights and boots and my winter coat yesterday and I wasn't too happy about that!

And I'm also looking forward to going to my Yia Yia's house to celebrate Greek Easter with my family on Sunday. My grandmother has the most gorgeous back yard and garden and I'm so looking forward to siting outside and just taking all of the beauty in.

And yes, I do realize I just wrote a whole post about the weekend and I still have a few more days to get through before I get there. Nothing wrong with looking ahead, right? :)

Bon Bon Kinda Day

I'm having one of those "I don't feel much like getting out of bed kinda days". I think I'm jealous from hearing my sister's tales of laying around all day pinning up a storm while laying around in her pjs all day. See, she's a teacher and has off all week so she has a lot of time on her hands this week. And she has a lot of time to tell me all about it too!

Alas, reality calls. She's the one off of work and not me. Guess I'm just gonna have to leave my laying around eating bon bons all day dreams and get myself movin on out the door.

Prettier in Pink

Happy Tuesday, loves! Hope your week is off to a wonderful start!

Lately I've been having a major love affair with all things pink. And that's not really strange for me this time of year. I blame it on the beautiful blooms and cherry blossoms.

But this year the love affair is on a completely different level. I think it started with these fuschia jeans that I bought a month ago and it hasn't stopped since. I just want to surround myself with all things pink. Starting right with this gorgeous living room. Isn't it to die for?

Monday Morning

Good morning, sweets! And happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that you're all ready to start the brand new week.

I had a lovely long weekend but I have to be honest. I could use another day off. Greedy, I know, but who wants to stop having fun, right? :)

What did you all do this weekend? Any Easter festivities? My Saturday kinda got away from me so I never got around to making the glitter eggs or the coconut marshmallow nests but I did end up having a wonderful Easter anyway. And who knows? Maybe I'll end up making them next weekend for my Greek Easter family celebration. We shall see...

Easter Weekend

I'm off today enjoying the start of a 3 day weekend and I couldn't be happier. Going to have some fun, get some rest and just enjoy every second. I'm even going to give Easter eggs a go this year. I haven't decorated them in a few years but this year I'm inspired to try. I think I'm going to try glitter eggs and maybe even tackle these Coconut Marshamllow Nests that Adele shared.

Flower Power

Happy morning, loves! Hope you're all doing well.

I'm in a super mood this morning. Wanna know why? Because I looked outside and what did I see? A canopy of blooms covering my usual stark and concrete view.

Each and every day I've been noticing a new tree or flower patch blooming. It's so energizing to watch the rebirth unfold, isn't it? I know it does wonders for my spirit and hope it has the same effect on yours.

I'm also in a great mood because today is my last day of work for the week. Tomorrow I'll be enjoying the start of a 3 day weekend! Happiness all around. :)

My tea fantasy would take place in a stunning villa and it would include the most gorgeous china, scrumptious tea sandwiches, scones, macarons, tarts and cream puffs and and array of the most delicious tasting teas.

Pretty Monday

Good morning, loves! And welcome to a brand new week and a brand new month! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend.

Mine was exactly as I had hoped. Filled with lots of love, relaxation and some sweetness. Stayed indoors on a rainy Saturday which was just perfect. I even took a 3 hour nap which never happens these days. I didn't think my lazy Saturday could get any lazier but it did! And then on Sunday I attended my cousin's bridal shower tea which was just lovely and oh so pretty. Oh how I love all things wedding.

All in all I'm feeling very happy and content and focusing on all the beautiful things in life. A perfect way to start the week, in my opinion.
