Happy Tuesday, sweets! How's the week treating you so far? 

I don't know about you, but sometimes it gets a little bit depressing to have to sit in an office all day without getting to experience the beautiful days that take place outside the four walls that I so affectionately call my cave.  I do have amazing weekends but the weekdays are spent in a windowless office so I don't even get to see daylight the majority of the week. And I know I'm not alone because I've heard others say similar things to me.

So today I wanted to bring a bit of the outdoors in and give you all a taste of what it just might be like outside. And if it's not really this nice out wherever you're living, you can dream right along with me. :)

Weekend Snapshots

Good morning, loves! And happy Monday to you! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend.

Back today to reality after 3 days in paradise. The long weekend started out on a fabulous note with a rainbow filled ride from the city to the ferry.  Told you I was in a rainbow frame of mind lately :)

Since I constantly go on and on about my summer weekends, I figured I'd give you a little peak of what my summer home away from home is like.  Gorgeous ocean beaches, a beautiful peaceful bay, spectacular sunsets, yummy drinks and yup you're even seeing a few of the adorable deer that roam the island.  It's nature at it's best. And there's no other way I'd like to spend the season.

The Rainbow Connection

A bright and cheery morning to you all!  Hope you're all having a fabulous week. 

Lately I've had rainbows on my mind.  A total gorgeous spectrum of colors spinning through my mind.  And I can probably point to quite a few reasons to explain this. 

Could be the fab new bikini I got last week and wore this past weekend.  Under my rainbow colored umbrella.

Or it could be the multicolored bath range that I've been developing and staring at for months and months.  It's literally sitting right in front of my face on my desk at all times. 

It could be the rainbow drinking glasses I purchased for the beach house on Friday.

And how about the Gabriel Dawe Thread Installation.  Have you guys seen this yet?  It's incredible!  {I can't remember who told me about it so if it was you, please let me know and I'll thank you again and credit you :)}

Or perhaps it's the rainbow sprinkles I ate on Sunday followed by getting to see a real rainbow only a short time later. 

Whatever the reasons, I can't get enough of them.  So much so that I think I need to paint each finger a different color to match my mood this weekend. :)

One Lump or Two?

Happy mid week, loves!  How are you all doing this fine morning?

I'm off to work but all I want to do these days is be outdoors.  The temperature is perfect.  Not too hot and not too cold so I'm thinking now would be a good time for a little al fresco tea party.  And you're all invited. How does 3pm sound? :)

Suburban Summer

Good morning, sweets!  Hope the week is treating you all splendidly.

Lately I've been dreaming of summer in the suburbs.  The town where I take the ferry on over to my summer house is oh so quaint, it seems like every other house has a swing hanging from a tree on the front yard, and it brings me back to my carefree childhood days in the suburbs of NYC. 

Long days outside in the beautiful fresh air, loving every single second of it.  I remember it all so fondly and it would be so nice to get to recreate those feelings these days.  Yes, I do have the beach but there's something about the grass and the greenery that gets me. 

Dreaming of knocking on the door of one of those quaint houses and inviting myself over for a little al fresco brunch followed by a quick turn on a swing.  I wouldn't be much of a bother and I'd even prepare the brunch.  Think the homeowners would mind? ;)

Rise & Shine

Good morning, loves!  And happy Monday! How was your weekend?

Mine was wonderful.  We were at the beach so it was filled with lots of sun, sand, books, beautiful sunsets, ice cream and even rainbows!  It couldn't have been any better.

Now I'm back and ready to start a 4 day work week.  And before I know it I'll be on my back to the beach Thursday night.

Currently Obsessed...{Gerard Darel 24 Hour Bag}

Good morning loves!  Hope you're all having a fabulous week!

The summer heat has been in full swing this week so summer style is all I'm about these days.  And want to know my latest obsession {besides Olivia Palermo's summer style in general}....

The Gerard Darel 24 Hour Woodstock Bag!  Isn't it fantabulous?

And I'm obviously not alone in feeling this way since Ms. OP has been steadily rocking hers the past few weeks... 

And while I do love my J.Crew Farmer's Market Tote, I can't help but crave this baby. The beautifully woven design is lightweight and has an adjustable leather strap and tassel detailing.  It has a certain city sophistication that I'm flipping over. The ultimate summer tote perhaps?  I think yes.

The Syracuse & Panama versions are also available offering a wider range of color and patterns  Not too shabby in my opinion either.

Any strike your fancy?  Quite a few strike mine, most particularly Ms. OPs, so I guess it's good that there's a wait list... :)

Provencial Escape

Good morning, loves! And happy mid week! I love that it's already Wednesday. I'll be back at the beach before I know it. I'll take weeks like this every week, please. :)

Since I can't be away YET, I'll go ahead and daydream a little bit today. You know me...I'm quite the dreamer. And ever since my father mentioned that he will be taking a little trip to Provence in a few months I can't help but get the thought out of my head. He's renting a villa and everything. Doing it the proper way. Wonder if he'd mind if I snuck in his suitcase...

Soft Start

Good morning, loves! Happy Tuesday to you all! Starting the week a little later than normal because I was off at the beach for the long holiday weekend. Summer Kick Off!

Hi loves! Happy Friday! And happy long weekend to those who are celebrating Memorial Day on Monday!  I want to thank all of you so very much for all of the amazing book recommendations yesterday.  You are all obviously a very well read group and now you've motivated me to become more like you!  I'll be ordering quite of few of these to start me off.  Thank you, thank you!

We're heading on out to the beach house this afternoon to celebrate the {unofficial} start of summer with friends all weekend long.
