Beach Week!

Good morning, loves!  And happy Monday! Thank you all so much for the lovely bday wishes.  You're all too sweet and definitely made my day.  Actually my entire weekend!  Speaking of weekend, how was yours?

I'm still out at the beach today.  A few more days in Fire Island followed by a trip somewhere even closer to paradise later on in the week.  All in all I'll be 100% beaching it this week and you know that makes me happier than basically anything. :)

Party Like It's My Birthday!

And that's exactly what I'm going to do!  Happy Friday, sweets!  Heading on out to the beach this morning for a long weekend of fun celebrating my the big 4-0 today.  Yes it's true, the day is finally here, but I plan on dancing the night away like a 22 year old :)

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!  I'll be in and out over the next week between being at the beach house and also, I'm going on a birthday trip to the Bahamas on Wednesday!  Posting will be normal but I might not get to stop by you all as often as I'd like.  And as always, if you're interested, you can catch me on Twitter and Instagram.

Oh What A Night?

Good morning, lovelies!  Happy Thursday!  How's the week treating you so far?  It's been hotter than hot here in NY all week long and today we're supposed to get some "relief" meaning instead of 100 it'll be more around 85.  Funny enough that sounds cool to me these days.

Today is my last day of work for a while before heading on out for vacation.  And instead of making our way on out to the beach tonight as we normally would, we are staying in the city for some reason unbenownst to me.  Some sort of surprise but I 'm guessing we're going out somewhere to do something to celebrate the big day tomorrow.  I'm sure it'll be fun no matter what it is but I'm hoping a little bubbly is involved :)

Loved Up

Morning loves! Happy mid week to you all. Can't believe it's already Wednesday. Seems like the week is flying by.

And this week I'm all about putting a break to the fast pace because I'm experiencing quite the fabulous one. Feeling particularly loved, blessed and just plain spoiled. Flowers Monday, Chanel shopping Tuesday {no bag yet...found what I want but still have to locate it...}, followed by a romantic dinner tonight just the two of us.  J is really going all out this year.  I'm quite a lucky girl!

Peonies and Chanel

Good morning, sweets! Hope you're having a fabulous start to the week. I sure know I am!

J started my week of on the right foot by having a gorgeous bouquet of peonies delivered to my office to kick off bday week. They're so gorgeous, they just lit up the entire room. It was a total surprise too since my actual birthday isn't until Friday.  But this way I get to enjoy them the whole week long before heading on out to the beach and vacation.

And even more exciting is that tonight we're going shopping at Chanel, yup I said Chanel for an early birthday gift! I can't believe I'm finally getting my Chanel bag after all of these years. Lucky me! I guess there are pluses to turning the big 4-0 after all. And if this is how the 40s are starting, I'm really not minding them in the slightest.  Bring on the new decade! :)

Monday Morning

Good morning, loves!  And welcome to a brand new week!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. 

Mine was amazing.  Time at the beach house can't be beat.  I mentioned the routine last week and we pretty much stayed true to that.  Feeling nice a rested and ready to start a brand new week.  And almost a brand new decade.  It's birthday week and I'll be turning the big 4-0 on Friday.  Yikes! Well my 30s were better than my 20s and they say {whoever they are...} that your 40s are better than your 30s so I'm going into it with that in mind. :)

Let's Go To The Beach, Beach...

Hi loves!  Today is my Friday so you know what that means, right?  Yup I'm heading on out to the beach early.

Feeling a lot better the past two days so I'm hopeful that I'll have a nice relaxing weekend in the sun.  Our days at the beach house are so predictable. Wake up late, have some yummy breakfast.  A quick step outside to the beach for a few hours.  Delicious refreshers later in the day followed by a BBQ and then a little stroll into town to see the sunset over the bay.  But trust me, it never gets boring.  I know I'm incredibly fortunate that I get to experience this as often as I do.

Keeping Calm

Good morning, loves!  And happy mid week to you all.  Can't believe we're already half way through the work week.

It's been good getting back into the swing of things but I'm trying to also take things a bit more slowly than usual as not to overdo it.  Work has been busy with lots of meetings and I've had some things to do in the evenings so I've been trying to steal a bit of quite time whenever I have the chance.

Better To Be Back???

Happy Tuesday, loves!  How are you all this morning?  Hope very well.

I never thought I'd say this but I was actually quite happy to be back at work yesterday.  Guess that tells you how sick I was feeling on my time off, huh?  Even though I'm not yet 100% there is something about the world of beauty that made everything seem a bit better.  That and being back to you beauties.  Things are on the upswing. :)

Back To Pretty

Hi loves! Happy Monday! It's so good to be back after my break.

Thank you all so much for the kind words over the past week. It really touched me to hear from all of you.  I rested up and am starting to feel better. In addition to my illness I've been having a tough time with the medicine I have to take. All in all I was quite the mess but I am slowly getting better with each day.

It was hard to be away...actually this was the longest break I've ever taken in 3 1/2 years of writing this blog. I missed you all but I'm back now. So fill me in. What did I miss? Did you all have a good week/weekend? Sure hope you all did :)

I'll be around soon to say hi. But in the meantime, I wish you the most beautiful of Mondays!

Bit Of A Break

Happy Monday, loves!  Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

I'm taking an unexpected blog break until July 9th.  I've been having some health problems lately and need the time to just rest and recuperate.  Nothing too serious.  Hopefully I'll be back to normal soon.  For now I'll just be staying at the beach taking it easy.  Hopefully I'll get through some books and maybe even pamper myself a bit.
