Happy Friday, lovelies. This is what I felt like when I looked out the window this morning. Can you guess why?....

Yes it's snowing again here in NYC. What else is new these days? I feel like I live in Canada which would be cool. It's actually something I've always wanted to do but the problem is, I'm not living in Canada. I'm here in the States.

Anyway, I'm remaining upbeat today because it is the weekend afterall. Who cares about snow? I can always go out and play and have a snowball fight, right? That should make for a fun weekend :)

So what are you all doing this weekend? Hope you have a fabulous one! xoxo

All I Got For Xmas!

Good morning, lovelies! We're still digging out from the big snowstorm that hit Sunday into Monday. It dropped more than 18 inches here in NYC and I ended up being snowed in, unable to get to the office. No complaints here though. I just love a snow day. Got to stay indoors and enjoy some of my presents a little more. I was really lucky this year and I got everything that I asked for!

Melinda Maria Oxidized Link Ring
ASOS Feather Clutch
The Gospel According to Coco Chanel
Urban Outfitters Over The Knee Socks
Crystal stacked bracelet
Pink Texting Gloves {I also got some black ones :)}
Ecote Antiqued Metallic Beaded Clutch

Lucky girl, indeed! What did you guys get this year?

Snowflakes Falling All Over Town

Good morning, lovelies! How was your holiday? I had a wonderful one spending Christmas Eve and morning hosting J's family and then seeing my family Christmas afternoon. Everyone was in such a joyous mood. We decorated cookies, sang Christmas carols and J & I even played Santa for the first time ever arranging all of the gifts around the tree for the Christmas morning unveiling. It was just perfect!

Sunday was a lazy day spent indoors avoiding the blizzard we are being hit with and also catching up on some much needed rest.

Today I'm planning on making my way outdoors to survey the snow covered scenario. It's the first major snowstorm of the season and I have to admit, I'm pretty excited about it.

How did you all spend the holiday? Hope Santa was good to you all! xoxo

Bundle Up!

Good Tuesday morning, lovelies! Easing back into the swing of things. Is it just me or do the first few days back after vacation seem to be the longest? And burrr it is so cold outside! I was welcomed back to NYC by some flurries yesterday and I'm actually feeling a little bit under the weather. Talk about a harsh reality check!

How is your week going so far? If I haven't stopped by your place yet, I apologize that I'm taking a little longer than usual. I'll definitely be by soon!

Have a fabulous day! xoxo

Warm Wishes

Happy Tuesday, loves! Hope your all having a great start to the week. Brrr it's been really cold here the past few days. Yesterday it actually snowed a bit in NYC if you can believe! What happened to fall? I feels more like winter.

I dream of staying indoors in my nice toasty apartment but unfortunately that's not a possibility. Guess I'm just gonna have to resort to lots of coffee and a warm coat.

Have a lovely day! xoxo

Snowy Friday

Happy Friday everyone! I'm home from work this morning because we have about a foot of snow here in NYC. Sounds like a fun day but my poor good friend, she's the one I spoke about months ago and helped to create her inspiration board, is getting married today at Oheka Castle. She planned it in less than six months, she got engaged the day after my wedding, and has been able to put together a fantastic day. I just hope everything goes as planned for her.

Wishing you all an amazing weekend!

Snow Style

I have a feeling thing's are gonna be a little messy around these parts for the foreseeable future. And with fashion week starting tomorrow, the fashionistas are gonna have a bit of a challenge dressing for the shows. I'm gonna take a tip from these ladies who show that you can still look chic despite a little snow on the ground.

Wednesday's Wish

So wish I was home today on my blankie but it's off to work, at least for the morning. The big storm is hitting us now. Looks like we're going to get over a foot of snow! Hope you all have a great day and if you're lucky enough to be part of the blizzard, throw some snowballs for me :)

White Out

In anticipation of a yet another forecasted blizzard tomorrow (yeah let's see if this one really happens...) I've been dreaming of this comfy cozy and warm white washed room. I'd love to spend tomorrow snuggled in one of the sheepskin blankies in front of the fireplace. It would be a perfect mid-week escape.

Fab Friday!

Happy Friday everyone! I'm counting down the hours until the weekend starts. I can't believe I'm actually saying this but I'm looking forward to the big snow storm heading our way. My toes were in the sand less than a week ago and now I'm looking forward to running around in the snow? What's wrong with that picture??? :)

Anyway, hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Oh and I also almost forgot to mention that today is World Nutella Day! Yes, my favorite guilty indulgence has it's own holiday and I'm looking forward to celebrating it later on tonite someway, somehow. I'm browsing recipes as we speak but as of now I'm leaning towards giving these a shot. They sound easy enough and look delicious.

NUTELLA ROLLS

(Yields 16)
2 pkg. crescent rolls13 oz. container Nutella
1-2 bananas
powdered sugar
  • Spread out a crescent roll triangle
  • Drop a spoonful of Nutella in the middle
  • Add a slice of banana and wrap crescent roll up
  • Place these on a baking sheet
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and put them in the oven at 375 for about 15 minutes, or until golden.

Sending sweet wishes your way! xoxo

Snow Day!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. We braved the big snow storm here in the northeast. Actually I have to admit that I didn't even step foot outside for 2 days straight. Nevertheless I ended up having a very productive weekend. Tree's up, house is pretty presentable, menu is set for xmas dinner and I even finished writing Christmas cards at 12:30am this morning.

It was physically exhausting but I have to tell you nothing beat the feeling of waking up this morning to a spotless home, beautiful tree and christmas cards on the table all ready to be mailed.

What did you all do this weekend. Are you all ready for the holidays?

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like....

Yay for Friday and the close of the longest week ever!!! We're expecting a blizzard here so we're going to try to get all of our outdoor activities (buying a tree, shopping, etc) taken care of tonight and tomorrow before the big storm arrives. Maybe if we're lucky we'll have a white xmas. We haven't had one of those in these parts in a very long time.

Oh and before I go, I wanted to share this cuteness with you. What a lil snuggle muffin! I'm absolutely in love. I wish we could have one but Js allergic, even to hypoallergenic ones, so all we can do is dream about them. Which we do. Often. Sigh....

Hope you all enjoy your weekend! xoxo
