Back to Reality

Good Monday morning, lovelies! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had a great time at the beach. Back to the city now and back to reality. Wish I could stay at the beach house all week but someone's gotta pay the bills so here we are :)

I'm heading straight out the door for some java to snap me back into the real world, and to give me a little focus. I can't be in a summer state of mind all week now can I? What work would get done? I'm a little disappointed in myself because I've yet to go back to coffee after my cleanse a few weeks ago but today I definitely need it. Ah a little coffee is good for you, right?

So what did you all do this weekend? Anything fun and exciting or was it filled with lots of relaxation? Whatever you did I hope you enjoyed it to the fullest.

Have a wonderful day!

xoxo

Oh, I love that outfit and the cute little clutch. Coffee is my one vice. I am completely addicted to it. Don't even talk to me until I've had a few sips... I'm like a junkie. So glad you had a wonderful weekend. I think it's great how you will be having mini vacations every weekend at the beach... it will make the summer wonderful and the work week short. xo

Oh yes, a cup of coffee is perfectly fine, it's my daily vice too and I couldn't (or rather choose not to) live without it. Life is too short! Have a fab Monday xx

Coffee is essential in a person's life. Although I now drink more decaf as otherwise I'd be bouncing through the roof!

Coffee is key in keeping me functioning at work - especially today. I did so much this weekend and it was fun, but not super relaxing. I really need to try to get some rest tonight to catch up. Why don't we get summer vacation in the working world?! Now that would be so much better! Hope you are having a good day back in reality - we can do it!
Much love,
B

Love the outfit with that gorgeous little clutch bag. I could do with a coffee to get me going feeling a little sleepy at my desk this morning (& grumpy that its raining)

My cup of coffee is one of my favourite moments of the day. I had given up coffee some time ago, but as I don't have any other vices and eat healthy, I thought a cup a day won't hurt. Wishing you a great week, Dawn! :)

Glad to hear you had a relaxing weekend and yes a little coffee never hurt. In fact, coffee actually enhances athletic performance both strength and endurance wise (thank you Nutrition 101 paper). This weekend was full of DIY's which I'll hopefully be finishing and posting soon.
Happy Monday Dawn! xo

haha I had to giggle, Dawn, when you said that you couldn't stay in a beach frame of mind all week now could you ... you'll see why I giggled when you see this week's post ;) too funny. Dreamy images, as always, darling. You have a beautiful way of taking us to dreamy places in our mind. We went away for the weekend for a little gallery and boutique hopping and eating lots of fun al fresco meals and had so much fun. Have a fabulous week! xoxoxo

Ah, a little coffee IS good for you sometimes, as long as you drink enough water wih it!I always wish the weekend was a day longer - difficult sometimes, to pack it all in - going out, doing things at home, being creative, meeting friends, doing nothing ... Hugs for a sunny week!

Man reality blows sometimes. And when it does, that coffee is greatly needed. Have a good week!

Hey, you can't be down on yourself for a little pick-me-up on a Monday! And I say, forget reality, it kinda sucks (c: Fantasy land is where it's at!

Love your rings!! I was thinking the same thing this morning, back to reality!! Got things to launch! I've been trying to kick coffee as well, but easier said than done. Especially after fun filled summer weekends. We went to a beautiful black tie wedding at Gotham Hall. It was the first time I've attended an event at that venue and it was nothing short of beautiful.

Glad you enjoyed another great weekend on the island. Hoping this week will be easy on you.

I tried giving up le café, but I could never accomplish anything without it, especially my writing!

Lucky you to have a beach house....we don't have any ocean beaches in Montreal, only lakes ;o(
