Good morning, loves! Hope you all had a nice weekend.
Not sure if you've heard but we're braving through a hurricane here in NYC. It's supposed to last for a few days so for now I'm hunkering down and staying indoors until it's safe to venture outside. Hoping that we don't loose power but we've already lost hot water and the storm is supposed to be the worst we've ever seen here so I'm not feeling too hopeful about that.

Hey Dawn! I have a couple of blogger buddies from NYC and they mentioned they don't have hot water either. I'm praying for everyone on the east coast. We're no strangers to hurricanes here in New Orleans. So use to evacuating and dealing with no power etc. So I completely understand what you're going through. Try to stay occupied. That will help keep your mind off of things. Keep us posted when you can.

Hello lovely... hope you pulled through ok. It was so wonderful to get power/heat/cell reception back on Saturday. I'm still appreciating the modern conveniences I usually take for granted.
