Not Quite Fall Weekend

Happy Friday, lovelies! And welcome to the weekend! I know everyone in the northern hemisphere, including myself, is in a fall state of mind but technically it's still summer and I still have the beach house so we'll be heading out there for the weekend.

And wouldn't you know it, the temperature just dropped to fall temps yesterday so it's going to be a rather brisk weekend at the beach. I'm packing all of my sweaters and my cashmere hoodie because it sounds like I'm going to need it.

Should be fun though. I've always dreamed of being one of those people all layered up, frolicking on the beach. Reminds me of something you'd see in the movies. Yeah, I think I watched too much of Grease back in the day. You know that opening scene while Danny & Sandy are saying goodbye on the beach.

And I just watched the movie Something Borrowed a few weeks ago and there was a great scene like that as well. Now it's my chance to try to recreate it :)

Beach Bound...Finally!

Good morning, sweets. Today we're finally gearing up to head on out to Fire Island to start our summer vacation. There's minimal ferry service but at least a few are running and we hear that power's back. We're not 100% sure what we're walking into but we're hoping for the best. Finger's crossed that there's minimal damage to the house and that we're able to finally get this party started!

Wonderful Weekend

Happy Friday, loves! And welcome to the weekend! I'm relaxing at the beach for the next few days. And then we're ending the weekend at a Blink 182 concert Sunday night. It's all shaping up to be a perfect weekend.

Soaking Up The Summer

Good morning, lovelies! Hope you're all having a wonderful week. It's my Friday again, as I have off from work tomorrow, and I'm off to the beach for the weekend.

This is most definitely my best summer yet. I feel so fortunate being able to indulge in all my favorite things during my most favorite time of the year.

Back To Bliss

Happy Friday, lovelies! Well it's Friday, so you know what that means. I'm heading back to the beach this weekend. This weekend my family will be coming out to celebrate my father's birthday which was earlier this week. July is a big birthday month for us so the celebrations continue!

Pretty Life

Good Monday morning, lovelies! And welcome to a brand new week. I'm starting mine out on a high note and feeling so blessed & content.

I hope the weekend treated you well. As you can probably tell by my upbeat demeanor, mine was absolutely fabulous! My friends and family came out to the beach house to celebrate my upcoming birthday and it even more amazing than expected.

Getting to share the beach with my loved ones is one of the most rewarding parts of having the house. Living in the city, you'd think that I'd get a lot of visitors but in reality that's not really the case. The majority of the time all of our gatherings are in the 'burbs where the majority of my family lives and there's much more space.

Now that we have the house our home has become a pretty attractive option and we have people out each & every weekend. It's so amazing and I can't help but feel so happy & fortunate to have such a wonderful life.

Back to the Beach House

Happy Friday, lovelies! I'm off to the beach again for the weekend. Looking forward to some sun, surf, yummy cocktails and my first beach bbq of the season. Can't believe it's July and I haven't been to one yet. Luckily the weather looks like it's going to cooperate so it should turn out to be a great one. Yippee! :)

Warm Weekend Wishes

Happy Friday, lovelies! As I mentioned yesterday I'm at the beach for the weekend. My sister and brother-in-law will be joining us today and I'm really excited. They're our first guests to the beach house this summer. We love spending time with them and I love entertaining so it's shaping up to be an great weekend. Now only if the weather decides to cooperate.... :)

Cooling Off

Happy Friday, lovelies! I've fled to the shore for some relief from this heatwave. The second I got on the ferry last night the cool ocean breeze cooled me down.

What are you all up to this weekend? My weekend will include lots of beaching and my cousin's wedding Saturday night in Long Beach. Good thing that's taking place at the beach too because I'll be right back on the sand Sunday morning soaking up all that's left of the weekend.
