Back to the Beach House!

Happy Friday, lovelies!  And welcome to the weekend!

I know I've been talking about this for what seems like forever now, but the time has finally come for us to return to the beach house. Can't wait to get back to the island and take it all in.  I'm so ready to kick the summer off.  And the weather is supposed to be beautiful so it looks like it might be the right time to do it.

Before I head out I'd like to wish all of you moms out there who are celebrating this weekend a happy Mother's Day!

Ours was great but not quite long enough.  Started brainstorming about the decorating projects, went to a bachelorette party, spent time with family and then before I knew it, it was time to wake up this morning and head on out the door.

Glamorous Weekend

 

Happy Friday, lovelies! And welcome to the weekend! So happy that it's finally upon us. I have a fun weekend in store. Looking forward to spending lots of time dreaming up ideas for our living room and dining room.

One of the things I learned last night was how to define my style. I think I'm going to go with comfortable romantic. I love all of the feminine and glamorous touches but first and foremost, {for J's sake to be honest.} it needs to be comfotable. {I'd probably be willing to sacrifice some of the comfort for something fabulous :)} I've already started researching some tufted setees and ottomans and some chandeliers.

I'll also be attending my cousin's bachelorette party so it'll be time to get all dolled up and hit the town with the ladies. Lucky for me, she's not super wild or cheesy, so it should be a fun and glamorous night.

Dreamy Weekend

Easter Take 2!

Good morning, sweets! And happy Friday! So happy the weekend is finally here. As you can tell from all my moaning and groaning this week, I'm particularly ready for it.

Seeing my family this weekend to celebrate Greek Easter. Lots of things to look forward to. Summer-like weather, it's going to be 80 on Sunday!, my Yia Yia & mother's delicious cooking and my father's amazing wine. He went deep into the wine cellar and already has some special bottles selected.

And I already have my summer dress picked out because I'm planning on spending a lot of time outside basking in the glorious weather.

Easter Weekend

Good morning, loves! And happy Friday!

I'm off today enjoying the start of a 3 day weekend and I couldn't be happier. Going to have some fun, get some rest and just enjoy every second. I'm even going to give Easter eggs a go this year. I haven't decorated them in a few years but this year I'm inspired to try. I think I'm going to try glitter eggs and maybe even tackle these Coconut Marshamllow Nests that Adele shared.

Pretty Monday

Good morning, loves! And welcome to a brand new week and a brand new month! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend.

Mine was exactly as I had hoped. Filled with lots of love, relaxation and some sweetness. Stayed indoors on a rainy Saturday which was just perfect. I even took a 3 hour nap which never happens these days. I didn't think my lazy Saturday could get any lazier but it did! And then on Sunday I attended my cousin's bridal shower tea which was just lovely and oh so pretty. Oh how I love all things wedding.

All in all I'm feeling very happy and content and focusing on all the beautiful things in life. A perfect way to start the week, in my opinion.

Leisurely Weekend

Happy Friday, lovelies! What do you all have planned this weekend? Something fun, I hope.

I have not much planned besides my cousin's bridal shower on Sunday. In comparison to the weekends I've been having, I'm considering this one to be very relaxing and mellow.

Planning on staying in all day Saturday with my honey bunny. And tonight on the way home from work I'm going to stop off at Ladurée to pick up some goodies to make the weekend that much sweeter.

Serene Start

Good morning, loves! And welcome to a brand new week! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

I had yet another fun filled weekend celebrating Js bday AGAIN. The celebrations never end in our family. :) My sister and brother in law came in for the weekend and we made the most of every single minute. Cocktails at The Top of The Standard, dinner at STK, a surprise party for J later on that night with friends. And we topped it all off on Sunday with Le Grand Brunch at Beaumarchais and a walk on the High Line. I had an amazing time but I am honestly ready to sit back, relax, detox and catch up on sleep and life in general.

Sorry that I have been MIA for a while now. The festivities have really taken up all of my time lately. Looking forward to catching up and seeing what you've all been up to.

Spring Celebrations

Good morning, loves! And happy Friday to you all!

Finally getting back into the swing of things after vacation and now it's time for some more festivities.

Looking forward to celebrating a lot this weekend. Firstly, I haven't gotten to fully appreciate and acknowledge the official start of spring. Things are finally starting to bloom and come back to life and I always celebrate this renewal each and every year.

Also, the bday festivities continue for J. {Yeah I think I've mentioned before that I'm a good wife... :)} My sister and brother-in-law were upset that they weren't able to be with us in New Orleans, so they're coming in for the weekend to celebrate. Lots of fun things on tap! And after this weekend I'll be looking forward to a two week long detox. :)

Party Time!

Happy Friday, lovelies! Today I'm finally off to New Orleans to celebrate J's big 4-0 on Sunday!

This will be our first visit to NOLA and I'm really looking forward to experiencing it to the fullest. I'm sure I will come back stuffed to the gills but I'm planning on living it up while I'm down there.

Monday Morning

Good morning, loves! How are you this Monday morning?

I'm feeling mighty fine after a fabulous weekend filled with lots of celebrating, catching up with good friends and a lots of shopping. And I ended the weekend siting next to Alexa Chung at a lounge in the East Village. Not a bad way to end a great weekend. :)

Lots to do this weekend before leaving for New Orleans on Friday. As I mentioned before, J's birthday is next weekend and we have lots of celebrations planned over the next few weeks, so I've got my hands full these days.
