Venetian Dreams

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful week. Mine was very busy and I have a really busy weekend on tap. Still wanting to escape somewhere and today I'm choosing Venice. It's been a while since I last visited and I'm just itching to get back.

I'm a bit behind on catching up on reading & commenting on blogs. I apologize but I'm a bit swamped these days. Hope to catch up very very soon. Like in the next few hours...can't wait to see what you've all been up to!

Times Like These

I just want to escape to a little hacienda on a beach somewhere. This week has been a tough one with my best friend being really ill, he's still hospitalized, has a brain tumor and it seems like there's a really long road ahead.

And to top it off, this Saturday is the 1 year anniversary of my other best friend's death. Rough times but I believe that the hard times make you stronger.

It always seems like I escape to the water in my daydreams. Where do you all go?
