Lovely Day

Good morning, sweets! Hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday celebrating the beauty of love.

I had a wonderful night with J and I'm planning on taking this romantic feeling with me all throughout the week. Helps that I have some pretty flowers and sweets to remind me. :)

Romantic Start

Good morning, sweets! Hope you all had a lovely and loving weekend. I'm feeling all loved up after a wonderful weekend spent with loved ones.

Starting the week off in a romantic state of mind. Afterall, tomorrow is Valentine's Day and if you can't tell by now, I'm a romantic at heart. :)

Sweet Nothings

Good morning, loves! How is the week treating you so far?

Today marks 1 week before Valentine's Day and I'm already starting to get excited for the day. Every year there's a discussion as to what we want to do for Valentine's Day. Some years we make a big deal of it, reservations, gifts, etc. But other years we keep it very low key. Dinner at home, a nice bottle of wine and something sweet to eat.

This year we've decided to go the latter route. Very low key. Maybe flowers, some pretty lingerie and something sweet to end the night with.

I know not all of you celebrate Valentine's Day but for those of you who do, what do you have planned?

A Bow-tiful Life

Bonjour, loves! How are you all today?

I'm in quite the romantic mood as of late. Now that we're in the thick of winter my mind starts to wander off to pretty things and what's next to look forward to. Where does that leave me? Bows, bows and more bows! They're so pretty and everything looks better with a bow on top, right?

Maybe it's because I'm starting to think of Valentine's Day. Pretty packages all tied together in bows. Coquettish lingerie. Chloé fragrance, anyone? I'm getting excited just thinking about it. Hope J pulls out all of the stops this year :)

Still Blushing

I know Valentine's Day is over but I can't help but still feel in a sweet, romantic mood. Could have to do with all of the leftover goodies that are still all over my apartment. Candy, cupcakes, cookies and various other sweetnothings have had me feeling all loved up and on a sugar high all week long.

All You Need Is Love

Happy Valentine's Day, lovelies! I know this is a bit of a tricky holiday. You have the Valentine haters and the Valentine lovers. I happen to be one of the lovers. And it's not because I'm part of a couple. It's because it's a day to celebrate all types of love. Love of family, friends, or a significant other. It's about valuing all the love you have in your life.

Of course I also love the romantic part of it. I love the flowers, candy, gifts and all the little pleasures that come along with the day. I can't help it. It's a day to splurge in the middle of winter. What's not to love about it? :)

So whether you're romancing with your sweetie, celebrating your singledom, or basking in the love of your family and friends, I wish you all a day filled with lots of sweetness and love!

Blushing Beauty

Good morning, lovelies! How's your week going so far?

The romantic in me is rearing it's dreamy head again. It could have something to do with Valentine's Day being right around the corner. Whatever it is I find myself being drawn to soft, barely there shades of pink this year rather than the more traditional red . Don't get me wrong, I have been sporting red nails for the past few weeks and I'm sure I will continue to do so for a little while longer. But there's just something so soft, feminine and plain gorgeous about blush that I can't help myself.

V-Day Vixen

Dita: Striptease

I think this is a great little gift for that special someone in your life this Valentine's Day. Nothing too extravagant in dollars but the payoff would be awesome! ;)

We're not doing much to celebrate this year. We're heading on down to Maryland tonight to visit family and we'll be traveling back to NYC on Sunday but maybe we'll pick up a bottle or two of wine and some chocolates for a cozy night at home.
