Glamorous Weekend

 

Happy Friday, lovelies! And welcome to the weekend! So happy that it's finally upon us. I have a fun weekend in store. Looking forward to spending lots of time dreaming up ideas for our living room and dining room.

One of the things I learned last night was how to define my style. I think I'm going to go with comfortable romantic. I love all of the feminine and glamorous touches but first and foremost, {for J's sake to be honest.} it needs to be comfotable. {I'd probably be willing to sacrifice some of the comfort for something fabulous :)} I've already started researching some tufted setees and ottomans and some chandeliers.

I'll also be attending my cousin's bachelorette party so it'll be time to get all dolled up and hit the town with the ladies. Lucky for me, she's not super wild or cheesy, so it should be a fun and glamorous night.

Serene Start

Good morning, loves! And welcome to a brand new week! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

I had yet another fun filled weekend celebrating Js bday AGAIN. The celebrations never end in our family. :) My sister and brother in law came in for the weekend and we made the most of every single minute. Cocktails at The Top of The Standard, dinner at STK, a surprise party for J later on that night with friends. And we topped it all off on Sunday with Le Grand Brunch at Beaumarchais and a walk on the High Line. I had an amazing time but I am honestly ready to sit back, relax, detox and catch up on sleep and life in general.

Sorry that I have been MIA for a while now. The festivities have really taken up all of my time lately. Looking forward to catching up and seeing what you've all been up to.

Oh What A Night!

Happy Friday, sweets! I can't tell you how happy I am that today is Friday. Well actually, I'd be happier if it were Saturday, but I won't be greedy :)

Had a wonderful time at the holiday party last night. And of course that has me wishing that I could stay in bed all day today. Unfortunately, that's not a reality so instead I'm gonna do my best to rally and will put on a pretty face and head on out to work.

Putting on the Glitz

I'm in a celebratory mood today because tonight is my company holiday party. Everyone's been in such a festive mood at the office this week. Can't imagine how it's going to be today with all of the anticipation for this evening. I just love this time of year :)

All Glammed Up

Good morning, lovelies! And happy Tuesday to you all! Hope the week is treating you well.

Well it seems that the season is finally upon us, isn't it? I've been pretty wrapped up with all of the planning, shopping and decorating the past few days, but now comes thoughts of all of the parties. I have quite a few to attend this year and now my mind is pretty occupied with thoughts of what's a girl to wear???

I'm not complaining though. It's really one of the most exciting parts of the season isn't it? I just love any excuse to get all glammed up. And I've already have a few ideas in mind for the all of the various events. Can't wait to pull out all of the stops!

Morning Beauties!

Good morning, lovelies! How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun?

Mine was fabulous. Started it off just the right way Friday with the Lucky Shops NY VIP event. It was such a great time. A great crowd, fabulous free cocktails and an amazing selection of designer goods at up to 70% off retail. And yes, J & I did shop our little hearts out. Got 2 Foley & Corinna bags, a bracelet, a set of R.J. Graziano bangles, some earrings, and also got some fabulous free goodies. Thanks again to the lovely Audrey Allure for giving me the opportunity to attend. It really was such a fabulous night.

The rest of the weekend was equally as fun. We saw our 9 year old niece Saturday and Saturday night was chock full of celebrating with friends and family.

Now it's time to start the week, my last one before vacation next week so between the great weekend I had and the fun and excitement I have to look forward to I'm feeling mighty fine this morning.

Welcoming the Weekend!

Happy Friday, sweets! Are you guys as excited for the weekend as I am? I have a fun-filled packed one ahead of me!

Tonight I'm lucky enough to be attending the Lucky Shops VIP Event courtesy of the lovely Audrey Allure. I won her contest a few weeks ago and I've been bursting with excitement ever since!

Then tomorrow night I'll be hitting the town with my sister and brother-in law, aka BFFs, to celebrate my sissy's birthday which is today! Cannot wait for that one! Oh and I'll be sporting my latest purchase, the fabulous Zara sequinned clutch above. I've been dying for it for a while but despite searching high and low everywhere in store and online I couldn't find it. Thanks to Sabra from The Lonely Wife Project's help, it's finally mine!!!

What will you all be doing this weekend? Hope it's jam packed with fun like mine is :)

Oh and I just wanted to say happy birthday to my amazing sister and best friend Lisa today! She's the love of my life {well excluding J} and I celebrate today as if it were my own bday :)

Happy Halloween!

Happy Monday & Happy Halloween, loveys! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Despite an unheard of snowstorm on Saturday...yeah snow before Halloween in NYC? That never happens!...our Halloween party went off without a hitch. Well, the turnout was somewhat affected but for those of us that braved the weather and made it out, we had a fabulous time!

So what was I, you ask? Aubrey was right! I was The Devil Wears Prada. I know it's kind of 5 years ago but what can I say? I just happened to own the right accessories so it just worked out. And J was The Devil Wears Target which was pretty hysterical. A bunch of you guessed that I was going as Valentino from my hint. Wearing red and a lot of a certain Italian designer. Great guess!!! Sadly, I don't own any Valentino so now I'm determined to change that so I can pull that off next year ;)

Freaky Friday

Good morning, lovelies! And happy Friday!

I know Halloween isn't until Monday but this weekend is all about celebrating for me. We're hosting a party at a bar tomorrow night with our amazing friends so today and tomorrow I'm taking care of all the last minute touches.

The Art of Entertaining

Good morning and happy mid-week lovelies!

The return of fall means the return of many things to me. Fabulous fall fashion, apple picking, strolls through the green markets, cooking, wine tastings, hockey. But it also means the return of my desire to entertain. After a long summer of casual beach house gatherings, now is the time to step things up a notch.

Dinner parties are suddenly calling my name. Time to break out the china, pour some fine wine while cooking up a storm all while being dressed up to the nines. Sounds like a party! Care to join me? :)

Garden Gathering

Happy mid-week, lovelies! Hope you're all having a fabulous week. Thank you all so much for the sweet anniversary wishes. All your kind words really touched me :)

As I mentioned yesterday I'm having a busy week and of course my mind is already dreaming of the long weekend ahead. We're not going to the beach this weekend so I'm thinking of other things to keep us occupied. I know I want to be outdoors and I'm thinking a garden party could be a perfect way to celebrate this weekend.
