Pool Prints

Good Monday morning, lovelies! Hope you all had a great weekend and for those of you who had to deal with the hurricane, that you made it through ok. Luckily the storm has passed but unfortunately we're still unable to get to Fire Island to start our summer vacation. There was a lot of flooding and they're saying the earliest we could expect to possibly get on over to the island is tomorrow.

I know the summer's just about to end but I'm not ready to give it up just quite yet. In fact I've been doing a bit of bathing suit shopping lately. {I've had a lot of time on my hands at the computer the past few days... :)} And after wearing mostly solids all summer I've been gravitating towards prints lately. The more colorful, the better. And isn't this the perfect pool to wear them by? Can you say heavenly?

How bout you all? Do you like prints for your swimwear or do you stick to solids?

Sweet Nothings

Good morning, sweets! Yesterday was such a lovely day...bright, warm and sunny and it put me in such a wonderful mood. Seems like spring is in the air so I'm starting to feel lighter with thoughts of warmer weather.

And what do I do when I get in this mood? I like to shop, of course :)

I've has my eye on these next to nothing lovelies for quite some time now. Eberjey is one of my favorites for underthings and I'm loving this gorgeous bodysuit and bralette/hipster set. And how gorgeous is the tulle underwire one piece swimsuit from J. Crew? I'm head over heels in love. I don't think I'd be wearing it to the beach though. It's more of a lounging by the pool suit but I'm also loving the idea of wearing it as a top with a jacket or cardi over it.

Tropic Fever

I am so beyond in love Rosa Cha's latest collection. The colors, the prints, the cuts of the dresses and swimwear are divine and I can't help but wish the fall and winter away.

Step Into Summer, Sexy

It's been wet and cold here the past few days. So cold in fact that I had to pull out my boots & tights that I had packed away for the season! Talk about a seasonal shift! I can't help but dream about summer days sittin by the pool. I'm loving this new H&M Summer 2010 magazine with Catherine McNeil. She looks so amazing! And I'll tell you she looks this fabulous in person. I saw her on the street in my neighborhood a few weeks ago. Gorgeous!
