Speaking of Petals...my Louboutin lookalikes came in yesterday but I haven't had a chance to pick up the box. I'll let you know how they are tomorrow.

The Shoe Situation

My lofty aspirations of going shoe shopping on my lunch break today were washed away by the torrential downpours we're experiencing so I decided to turn to the web instead. And what do you know, I found a great alternative to the Louboutin Petal shoe I've been lusting over for months. It's soooo cheap and a lower heel which is a good thing aaaand it comes in ivory satin which fits into my palette much better than the blush Louboutin shade! I ordered them this morning so I'll have to wait for about a week to see if I really like them.

In the meantime I'm planning to go shopping tomorrow to Jimmy Choo and Cole Haan during lunch. Cole Haan just came out with a bridal collection and the great thing about this collection is that each shoe has NIKE Air technology in the heel and forepart for maximum comfort and cushion which is exactly what every bride needs, right? I have my eye on this one right now. Fashion & comfort in one. Sounds good to me!

Look Out! I'm Feeling Inspired...

I never really considered doing much DIYing for the wedding since my time is pretty limited but after a seemingly never-ending search for shoes, hair accessories & sash options, I've started to entertain the idea. Of course being housebound the past few days and with the upcoming vacation I feel like I have all the time in the world to take on projects. Let's see how long this lasts...

Check out some of the great ideas I've uncovered during some recent blog stalking. As I've mentioned before I'm absolutely in LOVE with the Louboutin Petal Sandals but the color isn't right. Erin over at Lucky Me posted this great idea for a DIY Louboutin!!!! I have to give this a shot!

And then I found this great idea for making satin ribbon flowers on Inspired Goodness. I've been stressing so much about finding the perfect flower accents...would they be the right color, fabrication, size, etc. If I take this project on myself I can guarantee that I'm getting what I want. I just hope I like the end results. I guess it can't hurt to give it a try. If I fail I can always try again, right?

Louboutin Lust

I opened up my email today to find not 1, not 2, but three different emails about Louboutin happenings!!! I'm trying to be good, but come on! There's only so much a girl can take!

Barney's tried to tease me but I resisted. Then I got an email from Neimans and my heart started to beat a little faster...Just check out these drool-worthy finds from the Louboutin pre-fall trunk show. Can you blame me???

And then came the final blow...This coming Wednesday at noon Gilt will be holding a Louboutin sale! I'm sure it will be nearly impossible to get a hold of a pair but I'm sure gonna give it a try!
