Soaking up the Summer???

Good morning, loves! How are you all doing today? I'm doing great and loving every second of this gorgeous weather we're having. It seriously feels like summer.

Sandals and sundresses are out, people are sunbathing in the parks, and all of the restaurant patios are wide open and packed with some very happy people. Now I just hope it stays this way.

Hope you're all enjoying some lovely weather as well!

Not So Fast

Happy Tuesday, lovelies! How are you all this morning? Hope your week is off to a wonderful start.

We're experiencing some serious summertime weather here in NYC. Yesterday it got up to 82 degrees! So much for fall, huh? Time to break out the bare legs and flip flops again and enjoy the great outdoors.

I'm not able to wrap up in cozy layers and wear my new boots that I've been dying to wear yet I am still in a fall state of mind. I think I'm going to go on ahead and satisfy my autumnal cravings by grabbing a cup of yummy cider today. Sounds like the perfect balance to me. A little apple a little spice. I'll just be sure to make it iced :)

Pool Prints

Good Monday morning, lovelies! Hope you all had a great weekend and for those of you who had to deal with the hurricane, that you made it through ok. Luckily the storm has passed but unfortunately we're still unable to get to Fire Island to start our summer vacation. There was a lot of flooding and they're saying the earliest we could expect to possibly get on over to the island is tomorrow.

I know the summer's just about to end but I'm not ready to give it up just quite yet. In fact I've been doing a bit of bathing suit shopping lately. {I've had a lot of time on my hands at the computer the past few days... :)} And after wearing mostly solids all summer I've been gravitating towards prints lately. The more colorful, the better. And isn't this the perfect pool to wear them by? Can you say heavenly?

How bout you all? Do you like prints for your swimwear or do you stick to solids?

Chill Out

Garden Party

Good morning, lovelies! Hope the week is treating you well. I know it's only Wednesday but I'm already looking forward to the weekend dreaming of what to do. With no beach house on the agenda I'm going to have to get creative to come up with something that will still scream summer.

Thinking a lovely garden party could do the trick. Since I don't have a garden I think I'm going to have to start making some calls to my lovely friends & family. Wish me luck :)

Take It Easy

Good morning, lovelies! How is the week treating you? I'm having a wonderful one and good news, it's already Wednesday!

During the summer all I want is to be outdoors enjoying life to the fullest. It's the time of year that I like to slow down, kick back and relax. Lazy summer days are where it's at for me. Everything is so lush and green and I love nothing more than getting to lay back and feel the warm sun on my skin. It really makes me feel so incredibly alive and so content at the same time.

Back to the Beach House

Happy Friday, lovelies! I'm off to the beach again for the weekend. Looking forward to some sun, surf, yummy cocktails and my first beach bbq of the season. Can't believe it's July and I haven't been to one yet. Luckily the weather looks like it's going to cooperate so it should turn out to be a great one. Yippee! :)
