Magical Marilyn

Happy Friday lovelies! Finally the weekend is near and I couldn't be happier. And after a few really cold rainy days it looks like we're going to be rewarded with a nice one here.

I wanted to share with you some beautiful images of Marilyn today. They were previously unpublished, Life magazine actually passed on the photos back in 1950 because she wasn't really known, and I remember how much I fell in love with them when they were released last year. So young, so fresh and so carefree. You can really see her softer, more vulnerable side.

Enjoy and I hope you all have a wonderful day! xoxo

Next time I go for a walk in the woods I'll have to remember my red lipstick and heels so I can look just as glam :-) Have a wonderful - hopefully sunny - weekend!

These are really incredibly beautiful. I actually had them saved on my computer too! I know Marylin is famous for being a pinup, but i much prefer her like this, it feels so genuine. Her vulnerability is quite touching.

Have a great friday and an amazing weekend!! xxx

there is also that photo shoot on the beach in 1949, and judging by the way she looks, if i'd be a guy, i'd have a huge crush at this very moment.

here's the shoot.
