Wednesday Wishes - The Perfect BBQ

Ever since the latest issue of Martha Stewart Living landed in my mail box last week I've been dreaming of summer and fantastic BBQs. The issue is chock full of grilled yumminess! We live in the city so we usually end up going out to my sister's house out on Long Island for BBQs. We're already talking Memorial Day and it just can't seem to come soon enough for me!

That really does look fantastic. Those drinks - don't know what they are but they look good! I can't wait for the warm weather (uh hello, spring? let alone summer) so we can grill with friends.

The last time I've been on BBQ was probably last year and I miss it....Those photos are so beautiful...I have a thing about corn...I love it sooo much!
Thanks for giving me an idea for our next weekend:)
Muah sweetie...are you feeling better?

Oh, I wish I could BBQ as well, but living in a city apartment does have it's disadvantages. One reason alone a garden would be worth having! I'm drooling over those foodie pics!

I have always loved a good BBQ, especially if it’s in any of these gorgeous surroundings :)

Wasn't that issue especially fantastic? The party in Vermont, all with local resources and producers (VT is really dear to my heart), the backyard lunch at that organic farm in Colorado (the farmer was at her show yesterday, by the way, and kinda cute! :-) ) ... Haaaaa...

Dreaming, dreaming, dreaming about endless, bountiful, leisurely outdoor meals too.

Now you have me lusting for some great outdoor time with delicious food and fun people! Kabobs are my favorite. Corn grilled still in the husks are the best. I have a great spicy corn on the cob recipe for the grill that I will be using as soon as it gets above 65 and sunny!

Mmmhh, these pictures really put me in the mood for a barby and bring back wonderful memories of delightful beach bbqs on Cape Cod. Even though here in the UK it's often a bit of a joke... Bring on the summer! xx

Ah, summer is approaching, my lovely. I cannot wait to swim in the warm sea, eat ripe summer fruits, BBQ, gorge on water mellons, grill chicken and vegetables in the garden. And enjoy music at the various summer festivals. Don't you just adore summer?;-)

Yes, we're feeling the same. Here in Orlando, my daughter's house in on a lake with all kinds of ducks, birds everywhere, and she has a big outdoor grill, a big screened-in porch and a lovely flower garden, so it will be fun there. Go see delish.com, they have some lovely-looking grilling things today. xx's
