Hope your work trip is going smoothly... I love hats too, but never wear them. I don't have a "hat-suitable" head, I think... :-)
I love the way they look but I can never seen to work a hat into my regular waredrobe.

Love hats. Start off with something inexpensive so you can decide if you will actually wear it. In NYC for Fall & Winter you definitely need a hat, don't you? Whatever you get, put silk flowers, little pins/brooches, ribbon, etc. to change it up and make it your own. love you..
I wear lots of hats in winter... In summer I find them tricky - if I decide to put one on, I can't take it off until I'm back home because it flattens my hair and sort of messes up my make-up on the forehead... but I do think they're really stylish and make a cool statement!
Sadly I feel like I don't look good in hats. Boo!

I have a hot pink floppy hat I wear while i am in the sun. My friends make fun of me bacause they all love to tan and i put my hat on like a big shield. And I love it!

I don't own a hat, but I would love to. These images are fabulous! Love the hat in the fourth picture.
Oh you know i kind of collect fedoras, although i wish i was wearing them more often though! But i stopped collecting quite sometimes ago.
And now since you brought on this topic, I think i am in need of a summer hat and a boater hat!

The only hat I am currently rocking is my big beach hat. Otherwise, it's usually a headband for me.
Oh i am sooo into hats too! I recently got one for my birthday and i'm obsessed with it! Unfortunately i forgot it at my friend's in nyc :( But fortunately she's coming to visit in 2 weeks so i'll get it back!

I'm such a fan of the floppy hats that seem to be everywhere. I have several times skipped them over (due to various reasons) and have regretted it every single time. Make sure you share what you choose once you have made your selection =)
