Fresh Start

Welcome to the start of a brand new week, lovelies! Hope you all had the most amazing weekend. I had a blissful weekend filled with no obligations. Just got to do whatever my heart desired and it was wonderful.

Saturday I caught a movie, Easy A, which I really enjoyed. Reminded me of Mean Girls and Saved put together which is a good thing in my book. And then Sunday was brunch, mani/pedi & a massage, a little shopping and lots of catching up on blog reading. I couldn't have asked for anything else.

This week is going to be a little unusual in my household. J is going away on Wednesday to Atlanta for a business trip and I'll be alone for two nights which I'm really not looking forward to. I have things to occupy myself with, going to try to get some more Fall shopping in and a trip on down to Topshop is definitely in order, and then there's a possible hockey game on Thursday but I know I'll find myself lonely. Then I fly down to Atlanta on Friday night to spend the weekend. Two nights alone is enough for me :)

Well I guess it's time for me to head on out and start the week off right. Coffee & croissants are calling my name.

Hope you all have a wonderful day! xoxo

oh you always have great weekends and this one sounds like it was no different! I have my coffee in hand right now but if you could bring over a croissant I would love that! Funny, I have to go to Atlanta in Nov for work and I have not been in so long. Maybe you could scout out the cute boutiques there :)

I hear you! My husband is about to leave on a two-week business trip. Yikes! To occupy myself I might invite a few friends over and organize a girls night in with tapas, drinks and games... if I can get my **** together ;-)

But his trip also means that next month me and the girls are going to join him in London... Topshop, Accessorize, Selfriges, Tate Modern, here I come!

I'm so jealous, your weekend sounds perfect! I am so looking forward to when I can have a cup of tea and croissants in the morning without having people come at 8am to install lights or shower doors or whatnot... ugh. Am so tired. I need a massage!

I'm the same way about not liking it when Gabe's out of town (or when I'm out of town without him). I miss him! But a trip to Topshop would definitely lift my spirits. :) Hope you're having a good Monday!

omg. Brunch. Man/pedi. Massage. Shopping. Throw in a cleaning lady doing her thing while I'm gone and it is my absolute perfect day. Not that it ever happens, lol.
