Serene Start

Good morning, lovelies and welcome to a new week. Can't believe it's Monday morning already. I really didn't want the weekend to end. We escaped the city and had an amazing time visiting with my sister and her husband. We barbecued, watched the sunset from a secluded beach, walked around quaint towns while enjoying delicious gelato and drove around the North Fork of Long Island. I actually felt like I was on a mini vacation. It's not that far from the city but you feel like your in another world. There are sprawling farms and vineyards and the most wonderful little fruit and flower stands that were overflowing with the freshest looking fall fruits and veggies including tons of pumpkins and gordes! Guess it's finally time to wave a final farewell to summer.

Hope you all had an amazing weekend and that your Monday is off to a great start!

xoxo

Sounds like you had a lovely weekend. My mind has begun to drift to thoughts of pumpkins and actually will be looking for some tomorrow. September brings such beautiful weather - not too hot, not too cold. If only it lasted just a bit longer. Enjoy your Monday Dawn and have a great week! :) (gorgeous images!)

Glad to hear you had such a great weekend! It definitely feels like fall this morning here... I'm fully into fall mode now. Thinking about a stroll in our neighborhood with my son, so we can pick fallen leaves and making a collage. Or gathering different kinds of pumpkins and gourds to decorate my front yard with...
