Washout

Happy Friday, lovelies! Well the unofficial end of summer weekend is upon us and what better way to kick it off than with a hurricane, right? :) Earl {should be a tropical storm by the time it reaches us today...} will make the first day of the long weekend a complete washout. And I have to admit, I'm kind of a bit excited. What's wrong with me, right??? Well I see it as a day that I can spend indoors, catching up on sleep and whatever else my heart desires. I have three more days of fun ahead of me after today so I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever!

Hope you all have a fabulous day and be safe if you're being effected by the hurricane/tropical storm in any way. xoxo

i'm sorta excited for this bad boy too! - i could use a lil time with my feet up on the couch, snuggling under the covers, watching a movie FOR SURE! .. but i'll probably end up stuck on the parkway in traffic heading for the shore - BUT knowing who i am, who know's - i never make up my mind till last minute - so maybe a night in under the covers it'll be - THEN let the parties BEGIN!

Hurricanes blow minds... at times that is what we need. A sweet sweep. New season can step in, flow slowly and gently into our likings.

Happy weekend and thankfully although i am in NC, Earl will not be affecting me much in this part. However, the Outer Banks in NC is seeing Earl's wrath. Lovely pics as always. xx

Oooh! would welcome some of the rain you are going to get. Haven't seen any rain since April. Now desperate to see some (how sad is that?!)

I know exactly what you mean! Rainy days are perfect for days off because they allow you to cozy up in your comfiest clothes, grab a cup of tea, and relax all day long!
