Revived & Refreshed!

Welcome to a brand new week, lovelies! Hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was that perfect NYC fall weekend I was hoping for. A hockey game Friday night viewed from a luxury box with my siblings & friends. {Not a bad way to watch a game :)}

And Saturday was filled with more family time and a lot of cultural activities. We went to see the King Tut exhibit and then went to the Met to see the Big Bambú exhibit on the roof garden on top of the museum. It's a 50 foot sculpture made of bamboo perched on top of the roof. It was really spectacular. And it was the most gorgeous day...clear, crisp, and bright sunshine. We stayed up there for a few hours sipping cocktails and taking in the gorgeous views of the city and looking up in awe at the amazing piece of art before our eyes. Thank you so much to Audrey Allure for telling me about this a few months ago. I'm so happy that I had a chance to see it. If any of you are in the NY area before the end of the month, you really should head on over to the Met to check it out.

Sunday was filled with more goodness, brunch with the bestie, a trip to the green market, followed by a lazy Sunday afternoon spent indoors catching up on reading, sleeping, cooking and a bit of tv. I feel revived, refreshed and ready to start the week.

What did you all do this weekend?

Mine was spent swanning about the house in silk dressing gown - reading, cooking, playing the piano and the violin. X

Sounds ideal...all of it! Really want to make it into the city and take our kids to see the Tut exhibit...not enough time in a weekend these days!

We were planning on hit up the Michael Buble concert in London... but the tube strike sent us into wine drinking & dinner. :) Not so bad!

Can we talk about how delicious that strawberry butter looks? Gosh, I'm hungry.

Sounds perfect. The 'home' of Tut-Enkh-Amun is in East Berlin and when I was a kid this was one of the few reasons (apart from visiting friends and relatives) to visit the East. It's all changed now luckily.
Wishing you a wonderful start to the week, Dawn! xoxo

Sounds like a great weekend--and a great way to watch the game. What did you think of the King Tut exhibit? I think M was underwhelmed but I still thought it was cool.

Dawn,

Well your title really grabbed my attention! I just love feeling revived on Monday's although it doesn't happen as often as I'd like. Fall in NYC sounds so dreamy. I am praying for coastal fog and a chill in the air so I can start my October rituals.
