Morning, lovelies! Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Mine was not quite as planned. Despite my best efforts to ignore this bug that I've had all week, it hit me really hard and kept me in bed. No fall foliage for me. I spent the majority of the weekend looking like this. No joke...that was my hair. What happens to me when I am sick is really inexplicable...
What did you all do? Let me live vicariously through you :)

Oh no! Hope you're feeling better soon. We went out Friday, but it completely sucked out all my energy and I've been useless ever since. I'm not even admitting how long I stayed in bed today!

Oh, I hope you are feeling better, Dawn. You must have needed rest. I hate being sick on the weekends. Despite my best efforts to do nothing, I ended up fighting the mall crowds to get Logan her homecoming dress. (I picked up a cute pair of oxfords for moi)! xo

Sorry you're feeling so poorly Dawn! I hope you get better soon. I've been hugely stressed lately, so my husband and I went to a spa on Saturday. It was heavenly. I definitely won't mind doing that again.

poopers love! - i was all over the place - but laid back the entire time - it's my PERFECT way to spend a weekend - filled with things i was doing but not doing anything - know what i'm talking about? - where ur not drained at the end of the day, but still look back and say "wow i did a lot today" -
ANYWAY - feel better .. go out and get some fresh air today - it's beautiful out!

I got back from Nashville on Friday after presenting at the American Folklore Conference. On Saturday my husband and I drove to Kansas City to enjoy the town and attend a wedding. On Sunday we came home and I went to a corn maze with a few friends. It was super busy but tons of fun. But I think I'm coming down with something, too.

I spent the weekend celebrating my one year anniversary in Key West, went on a ghost tour, went to Ernest Hemingway's home, ate and drank too much. It was perfect!
