Brighter Days

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Good Monday morning, lovelies! How are you all doing today? Did you have a good weekend? Mine was great despite some technological issues. Between blogger problems, an email virus and a dead computer I was beginning to think I was in some sort of a time warp. Luckily things seem to be back to normal now, finger's crossed!

Otherwise it was wonderful. We attended the Manhattan Cocktail Classic Gala at the New York Public Library Friday night and had a fabulous time. Everyone was dressed up to the nines, wandering the halls of the library with amazing cocktails in hand. My kind of night :)

Saturday was a gloomy day but we had a nice day despite the weather. My Aunt came into the city to see a play so we spent the day with her. And Sunday the weather wasn't cooperating again so we spent the day indoors catching up on TV and reading. At least everything seems to be getting back to normal so I have no complaints.

And lucky me, I get to start the week on a high note because I get to meet the amazing Christine of Bijou and Boheme & Alex of Things That Sparkle tonight while they're in town for the Design TV party. Can't wait to meet them in person! Things are looking up indeed :)

Hope you all have a lovely day! xoxo

That Manhattan cocktail gala sounds like my kind of night too! Certainly must've made for a nice weekend, especially combined with a visit. It's been gloomy here too, but hey, at least we can all rejoice that blogger's back, right? ;)

Have a fun meet with the other bloggers and a great week! :)

Oooh, the gala sounds fab! Glad you had such a wonderful weekend, despite the weather. But if anything will brighten a day, it's these beautiful pictures. And boy, was I frustrated with the blogger mess last week, but at least they retrieved my post, so I shouldn't complain!

Glad you had a great weekend, sometimes I feel as though the dreary weather is trying to tell me something, to stay at home and dive into one of my many books on my reading list.
