Good Monday morning, lovelies! And welcome to a brand new week! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Mine consisted of a lot of rest and a lot of prep work for the juice cleanse that I'm starting today. I'm so looking forward to starting this. I really need to detox and to start taking better care of myself. And I'm hoping this is a good jump start. I know other people who have done these before and have had good results so here's hoping it works for me :)

Have any of you ever tried a juice cleanse before? If so, any tips for a first timer?

Thanks in advance and have a wonderful day! xoxo

Good luck sweetie, thanks for your comments I have in mind something similar. I want to try a detox week and this period seems to be the best one!I ´ve heard about some friends who tried this kind of detox and they fully reccommended it, at the same time, some relax is needed, not to overload your body with extra work! kisses

Oh, Dawn, I'm starving for you already.... no, I don't think I could do a juice cleanse, (although I am sure my body could use one). I just get too cranky when I don't eat. Happy Monday. xo

Hi Dawn,

Good luck with the detox and healthy regimen.
I find having a glass of hot water when I get up is always a good thing.

wow no I have never done this but sounds like a good think to do! Funny though b/c I was just reading Marie Claire and there was an article about the celebrities nutritionists and their strategies, daily calories, diets etc... Interesting read! Let us know how it goes.

Good luck! I really should do one of these but I like eating way too much, it sounds painful!

I have indeed tried this cleanse. Not once but twice. I think the key for me was to wake up early and sleep on time ... 'coz then there is no time in between to feel hungry ... The juice keep you pretty much filled throughout the day!

I have always wanted to try a juice cleanse but never done it - though have heard wonderful things. I love those beautiful yoga images. My current personal project is my headstand - challenging for me.
Much love,

I so wish I had some stellar advice for you, but I'm so terrible at sticking with anything related to diet/nutrition...I'm going to make sure I don't live to a ripe ol' age (c: Not really, but good luck on the cleanse, I'm cheering for you! Happy Monday, dearie!

I haven't tried a juice cleanse, but fresh juices are part of my daily diet, as I try to eat as heathy as possible. I'm sure you will feel great afterwards. Hope your week is off to a great start, Dawn. xoxo Ada

Good morning, Dawn! Good for you for taking good care of yourself. I've not down a juice cleanse but saw a green drink recipe last week that I think I will try as a supplement or meal replacement. It is suppossed to have 100% of the RDA!

Good luck...the first day of any big change is the hardest.

I've done a lemon/maple syrup cure for 10 days 3 times in my life. It worked wonders for my hubby, but i felt tired and dizzy sometimes. It tastes good though: 2 EL lemon juice, 2 EL maple syrup, a dash of cayenne and 250 ml water! Good luck with your juice cleanse - and hugs for the day!

I don't do juice cleanse but I have freshly made juices at leat twice a week. The best detox is early to bed and early to rise in my humble opinion. Here's hoping it brings the results you desire. XX

I tried this cleanse before! Other than the green juice (2/day!) it's not too bad!

Good luck with your cleanse Dawn. I've not done a juice one specifically, but did do a 90 day alternative cleanse that really revitalized my health even though at the time seemed otherwise :)

Your week sounds perfect to me. Esp with all the rest involved, jealous. By the way, I love the photos as usual, the head stand photo is pretty cute. :)

I have not done a juice cleanse so I can't give much help with that. I am also in the process of starting a new regime with Shakeology tomorrow and the workout program. In addition, to my cardio and weights program. I'll be thinkking good thoughts for you. Remeber for any "new" routine it takes 21 days to stick. I think your juice cleanse will be a perfect way to start the "new" regime. I'll be thinking good thoughts for you. PS- thanks for stopping by my blog (I couldn't respond to your comment). Anyhow, I wanted to let you know that Bridesmaids was hysterical. My Mom and I laughed so much. And let me know tell you it was "spot-on" and that's what made it even funnier. Anyone that has been in a wedding party needs to see it. I loved it and I'm going to drag my other half to see it to - he'll love the laughs! *Cheers* to us both on our new regimes.

Good luck!

I've tried drinking 5-6 glasses of apple juice a day for a week before to soften some gallstones and then on the 7th day I had to drink lemon and olive oil...did wonders for my body.

That's so good of you Dawn! I hope it works out well, very curious how it works on you! Never done it before and also don't know if I ever could since my stomach is so used to eating something every couple of hours. I do try to drink a fresh made juice every day! Good luck:)
