Happy mid-week, lovelies! I've always been so enchanted with gardens. Unfortunately it's not something that I am able to have living in the city. Of all the amazing perks that comes along with living in NYC, for people like me, the luxury of having a garden does not happen to be one of them.

So until I ever decide to leave this wonderful place I call home I'll have to wander through them in my dreams.

How about you all? All you fortunate enough to have a garden? And if so, can I come on over to take a stroll? :)

Have a wonderful day! xoxo

Gorgeous post, Dawn. I don't have a garden but my whole yard is blooming w/ lilacs, hydrangeas, pear trees, forsythia so it's good to always have something to put in a vase. There's always Central Park, huh? I was amazed how big it was. Hope you have a good Wednesday. xo

Exquisite photos, such a beautiful garden. I wish I could have my own garden, I know it would take a lot of work, but the beauty is worth it. xo

Gorgeous as always... No garden for me, and I don't intend to have one. No green thumb here... But I love strolling along public gardens. We have beautiful ones in San Francisco, so I can't complain.

Beautiful pictures as always... We have a small garden... Not big, and not wonderful. I do what I can, but ever since owning one I realized it's A LOT of work! I have success stories (beautiful peonies, wild raspberries, three lilac trees, a few rose bushes, lots of pretty tulips this time of year), but also a lot of things that don't really work/are not in the right place/are overgrown or lackluster, etc. This year we're trying something new: a small vegetable patch. A neighbor changed his fence and so we find ourselves with probably two more feet of soil in the back of the yard, right where we have the most sun. I can't wait to do this little project as a family.

Dawn u can cross over the Hudson anytime and see my garden! - i'm lucky to have one - but have been lazy with planting - i still haven't planted the veggies yet!

We do not have a garden yet, but we have the space for one in our yard and are planning on planting one. One of the roommates has a green thumb and I am just going to help. Ha. Hope you are having a great day, hun!
Much love,

Gorgeous images! Like you, I live in a concrete jungle - no garden for me. :( But I do have some community gardens nearby that I like to walk by in the summer. And there's always the botanical gardens I suppose. But one day, hopefully, I'll move to the 'burbs (as close to the city as possible please!) and have my own little flower garden.

These photo's are so beautiful and dreamy! Would love to have a garden full of flowers and take a stroll in it every day. Unfortunately that's not the case... But in the nearby future there will be a garden:) NY can't compete with a garden though! Hope you have a great week so far.

Gardens and spring time - one of the greatest luxuries Mother Nature provides. Your title reminded me of a idea mention in Bonjour, Happiness! where the author reminds us to create our own secret gardens within our own lives, whether it be a literal secret garden or simple keeping a mystery about us and find time or a special place to get away to and just be, rejuvenate and relax. A beautiful thought. Have a wonderful rest of your week Dawn. :)

What a beautiful post! I have always dreamt of having a garden full of wildflowers, roses, vegetables, and herbs. We do have an herb garden and not a day goes by that I don't stop to smell the sage. One day, there will be roses . . . xo Samantha
