Secret Garden
Happy mid-week, lovelies! I've always been so enchanted with gardens. Unfortunately it's not something that I am able to have living in the city. Of all the amazing perks that comes along with living in NYC, for people like me, the luxury of having a garden does not happen to be one of them.
So until I ever decide to leave this wonderful place I call home I'll have to wander through them in my dreams.
How about you all? All you fortunate enough to have a garden? And if so, can I come on over to take a stroll? :)
Have a wonderful day! xoxo

So Spring! Hope you're having a pretty & sunny week so far Dawn! xo
Gorgeous post, Dawn. I don't have a garden but my whole yard is blooming w/ lilacs, hydrangeas, pear trees, forsythia so it's good to always have something to put in a vase. There's always Central Park, huh? I was amazed how big it was. Hope you have a good Wednesday. xo
I have a garden or let´s say a big terrace with some tiny garden . It is very exhausting but it is really worth during the summer months!!!I wish I had a lawn and fruity trees.... dreaming.... kisses
Lovely pix - these lips are SEXY! We do have a garden here - lovely and green, but a lot of work too! ;)
Oh how lovely, those flowers are just beautiful! xo
Oh I love gardens. I have lots of patio plants and one day I will have a big garden all to myself. Gorgeous pics lady, hope you're well x
i have a little yard with some pretty things in it...moving soon though so then i won't have one either!
Gorgeous post Dawn... this just sparked my creative juices for a photoshoot! :) I'm with you... we live in a condo, no porch, no garden... just 4 walls... so I enjoy this little post more than you know! Hope the sun is shinning for you today! Much luv!
Exquisite photos, such a beautiful garden. I wish I could have my own garden, I know it would take a lot of work, but the beauty is worth it. xo
Those photos are totally dreamy. We dont have a garden as we live downtown but each spring I get tons of flowers for our blacony so it can feel like a tiny garden:) Hugs and kisses, sunshine
P.S: I'm hosting an awesome Organic cosmetics Giveaway later today! Perfect for a summer glowy skin:)
How very beautiful these photos are! I don't have a garden, I wish I had, what lovely moments you can spend there, especially now that summer is around the corner. Happy Wednesday, Dawn! :)
beautiful garden
i am surrounded by green and flowers in my american home but not in my italian one, unfortunately.
i love the one of the girl picking lavender! her dress is gorge!
Gorgeous as always... No garden for me, and I don't intend to have one. No green thumb here... But I love strolling along public gardens. We have beautiful ones in San Francisco, so I can't complain.
Such a gorgeous garden filled post. I was actually blown away with how much lovely green there was in NYC- such a fabulous city, filled with some amazing people:) xo
Happy Wednesday, dear!
Hello! Come to Singapore, otherwise known as the Garden City.
BTW, what software do you edit your photos in?
Cheers! xo
Wonderful photos! I love gardens..I want one like in the book/movie The Secret Garden, flowers everywhere, all over grown and wild! It would be fantastic!! I hope one day you'll have a garden too!! Wish you a gorgeous day sunshine!! xxx
Beautiful pictures as always... We have a small garden... Not big, and not wonderful. I do what I can, but ever since owning one I realized it's A LOT of work! I have success stories (beautiful peonies, wild raspberries, three lilac trees, a few rose bushes, lots of pretty tulips this time of year), but also a lot of things that don't really work/are not in the right place/are overgrown or lackluster, etc. This year we're trying something new: a small vegetable patch. A neighbor changed his fence and so we find ourselves with probably two more feet of soil in the back of the yard, right where we have the most sun. I can't wait to do this little project as a family.
Dawn u can cross over the Hudson anytime and see my garden! - i'm lucky to have one - but have been lazy with planting - i still haven't planted the veggies yet!
We do not have a garden yet, but we have the space for one in our yard and are planning on planting one. One of the roommates has a green thumb and I am just going to help. Ha. Hope you are having a great day, hun!
Much love,
B
We have a couple of small flower beds but we need to do more with them!
we live in an apartment so currently I don't have a garden, but I have about 5-6 pots of plants on my balcony :) They're my babies :)
Ruche always gets me daydreaming and lovey dovey. Cannot wait to find some secret gardens. PS... that was my favorite movie!
Gorgeous images! Like you, I live in a concrete jungle - no garden for me. :( But I do have some community gardens nearby that I like to walk by in the summer. And there's always the botanical gardens I suppose. But one day, hopefully, I'll move to the 'burbs (as close to the city as possible please!) and have my own little flower garden.
These photo's are so beautiful and dreamy! Would love to have a garden full of flowers and take a stroll in it every day. Unfortunately that's not the case... But in the nearby future there will be a garden:) NY can't compete with a garden though! Hope you have a great week so far.
What a gorgeous collection of spring photos. Love them.
i used to live in florida and there were a ton of gardens there, but now i live in arizona and just about everything is brown. but i want outfit photos in gardens that look just like this one!

Hi Dawn,
I love all your pretty flowers and garden photographs, all so dreamy.

I've been smitten with Ruche's new lookbook - the settings are incredible, no? Love the idea of secret garden and if I had one, you would most definitely be invited anytime! Lets keep dreaming! xoxo
our little patio has room for a garden, but we have yet to utilize it. hopefully this summer!
Gardens and spring time - one of the greatest luxuries Mother Nature provides. Your title reminded me of a idea mention in Bonjour, Happiness! where the author reminds us to create our own secret gardens within our own lives, whether it be a literal secret garden or simple keeping a mystery about us and find time or a special place to get away to and just be, rejuvenate and relax. A beautiful thought. Have a wonderful rest of your week Dawn. :)
Fields of flowers, fields of color, folds of flowers and linen!
xoxo

What a beautiful post! I have always dreamt of having a garden full of wildflowers, roses, vegetables, and herbs. We do have an herb garden and not a day goes by that I don't stop to smell the sage. One day, there will be roses . . . xo Samantha
Wow, what gorgeously whimsical images!
