Lazy Days Of Summer

I know it's not technically summer but it sure does feel like it. Seems like spring just passed us by. I skipped right by my spring transition clothes and right into my summer coolers. Flowing dresses and sandals instantly replaced my tights and boots and now it looks like they're here to stay for the foreseable future. Not that I'm complaining. That's a very good thing in my book.

Only problem that comes with summer is the bad case of summer fever that I get. Picnics, days at the beach, drinks al fresco, bicycle rides and BBQs constantly fill my brain making it nearly impossible to concentrate on anything else. But not to fear, lovelies, I'll suffer through :)

How is the weather in your part of the world? For my northern hemisphere friends, did you get to have a spring or did it go staright into summer temps?

Hope you all have a lovely day! xoxo

These pictures are so dreamy! I want to be the girl in the first one, sipping on those yummy looking drinks and leaning my bike up against a gorgeous old building...

So pretty. You would fare well in CA, Dawn. You are without a doubt a "Summer type of gal." We had tornado warnings last night. Parts of MA got hit but it missed us, thankfully. There were some pretty crazy storms though. The good news is it's going to be ideal weather for graduation tomorrow! xo

I haven't even really seen spring yet :/ We've had nothing but grey, cold and rain..but they did forecast better weather..so I have my fingers crossed and hope it's true. I welcome spring or summer at this point, hehe :) Enjoy it my dear - for me at least..I know it will be hard too ;D hehe xoxox

It's been again one of those years when we also stepped directly in the heat of summer. So I didn't get the chance to wear my much beloved trench coats as much as I wanted to. I know what you mean about summer fever and all the disctractions that come along this time of year. But it's my favourite season, so I'm loving it. :)

Love the hat in the first photo.

We have been having a very wet spring...but Saturday it should be in the 80's! I can't wait. I want to get outside.

I've been having troubles with blogger for the past week or two commenting on blogs...so I'm going to try and comment as anonymous and see if that works.

Have a beautiful day!

I just had one of those summer days; we spent it at the beach and it was amazing. The children were mingling with other children and we could relax and enjoy the sun, the sand and good food. One of those days that seems to be endless....

It is warming up and rather beautiful most days now in MN - which I love. But we did seem to skip over spring, but now that summer seems to be here I am okay with the warmer temps!
Much love,

I have been enjoying all your posts lately about summer (even if I don't always comment because I look on my phone through Twitter)! You are one lucky girl being able to have a summer house by the beach! I can't wait for summertime. I'm just waiting for the weather to warm up a little more! We're supposed to have rain this weekend. I can't believe it!
Have a great time at the beach! XO
