The Sweet Life
Good morning lovelies! Now doesn't this seem like a perfect way to spend the day? I cannot wait for the New York City outpost of Ladurée to open this month. I've been waiting for years and now my dream is almost a reality. It's so close I can almost taste it :)
Wishing you all a delicious day!
xoxo

What a delightful post, Dawn! I don't really have a sweet tooth, but, oh my, I couldn't refuse some Ladurée macarons. xoxo
Such a lovely post and how divine that NY is getting a Laduree!!!
Oh how divine!
We are getting a Laduree!! News to me! Where will it be? :)
Ohhh tempting me this early in the morning. Although macaroons have been on my "to attempt" list for a while. Even though I know they won't look anywhere near as perfect and gorgeous as Ladurée I'm pretty sure they'll taste just fine!
What a gorgeous post! I can't wait for the NYC Laduree to open either!

Yummy!
Those look absolutely delicious.
I wanted to stop and pick up a pastry on my way to work this morning but I convinced myself not to.
Now I am *doubly* motivated to get my booty to NYC!!! I've completely drooled all over pictures of the Laduree in Paris...DIVINE. I think I might pacify my craving with a good ol' fashioned cupcake today (c:
Oh. My. Goodness. How did I not know this was happening?! I feel like an emeregency trip to NYC must happen once Lauderee opens up - it is only my favorite bakery outside of Magnolia's - and now I can enjoy both in the same city?! Too good to be true!
Much love,
B

This post is tickling my taste buds already! I love Laduree and their macarons, the restaurant in Harrods is an experience too - Pierre Herme does some amazing macarons as well.
I've bookmarked this recipe, incase you can't wait that long for macarons:

I am absolutely fascinated that you get to do fun and fantastic things in your job! I have an incredibly sensitive nose - the kind that can smell a gas leak and tar from a mile away!

That is the most fabulous news!! I'd almost get jealous ;) My Laduree experience in Paris was just so wonderful...
laduree is amazing! i went to one in lausanne and one in zurich in the same weekend, haha :) just don't get the rose flavor, it literally tastes like eating a flower.
It will be so great to have one in NYC, I am still savoring my visit to the London outpost!
