Good Monday morning, lovelies! How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun and exciting? Mine was wonderful, as beach weekends always are. My family came out and we celebrated birthdays and had a fabulous time.
And now the time has come to leave the beach bum look behind and attempt to look a little presentable. During the weekends at the beach I am so incredibly casual, the total opposite of the usual me. I never wear makeup, dress in my beach attire and since I get beach hair, I don't even attempt to blow it straight and {ssshhh} I don't even wash my hair every day. Something that is completely unheard of in my everyday life.
I do love the relaxed, effortlessness of my weekends but being a girlie girl at heart I admit that I am pretty excited to primp up today.

I'm the same..girlie at heart! In the summer, I relax and do nothing, but once August comes back, I like to slip back into doing myself up and painting my nails!! I'm glad it was a great weekend..wish a fab week ahead! xo

Sounds like a wonderful weekend! I've had a great one myself as I am currently on vacation in Sweden. I've just been hanging out with my brother, snapping pictures and eating some great food!

I love effortless summer feeling and trying yo enjoy it why the warm days last. The summer is so short in Oslo. Soon the wool-underwear-time is back again. Think about that... now I'm going cycling in town and trying to find someting elegant to wear :) A jumpsuit? Have a nice monday!

Gorgeous images. So glad you had a wonderful weekend. It's hard to look "hot" at the beach... it does a number on your hair and makeup is kind of pointless. I always feel kind of grungy after a beach vacation... it's like some major primping is in order. Pedicure for sure... it does a number on your toes too! xo

Those are my KIND OF weekends!!!!!! I love not getting dolled up, so relaxing and effortless - but I do agree getting all fancy sings to the girliw-girl in me as well!

ALL summer i dress like a beach bum - it's MY thing - this weekend i stayed in Staten Island - and i was like "WHAT i have to take a shower and get dressed UP to go to dinner? - what happened to coverups and flipflops" - i told Joe, screw this, JERSEY shore everyweend .. it's just WHO i am - a beach kid!

I so agree-weekends are to just relax, not wash or straighten your hair! But then there are times when I cannot wait to glam it up and look feminine and pretty.
