Welcoming Winter

nullnullnullnull

Good morning, loves! And happy first day of winter for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere!

The weather is actually fairly warm here in NYC. I'm not complaining, I'll take it while I can. But there is a pretty big part of me that's wishing for a white Christmas. I feel like it used to happen all the time when I was little but lately it's a rarity. The forecast isn't calling for it so I guess I'll just have to have one in my dreams.

The winter is usually a pretty long and bleak one around here but I'm focusing on all the good things to look forward to. That first snow fall, cozy days indoors, and time to refresh and renew oneself. Oh and of course the holidays is a given. :)

What do you look forward to this time of year?

Enjoy the day, loves!

xoxo

I hope you get a white Christmas Dawn, it would be incredibly beautiful. I'm hoping the sun will come out here; its an unseasonably cool summer for us xx

I hope you get your white Christmas Dawn. We had the first snow last week but it didn't last. I've no idea what the forecast says, but it would be nice to have snow on Christmas Eve.

PS. I'm feeling a bit out of touch with blogosphere while dealing with the flu. I'm slowly getting better and it seems I have some catching up to do ;-)

Its pretty warm here too, well for London at this time of the year, so random!! I would love one day to have a proper white Christmas but not here as the city gets crazy when it snows!

We haven't had snow for Christmas in years. :( I would like to wake up to some light flurries and a beautiful dusting of snow. I remember being a kid and I got a tape recorder and my Dad was singing White Christmas and it started to snow... it just seemed so magical as a 7 year old! xo

Beautiful Dawn! It's nearly 70 degrees here in Charlotte too... it's hard to get in the bundling up Christmas spirit when it's that warm... but, I'm trying my best! :) Merry Christmas to you and yours, my love. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. I definitely look forward to the downtime with family and loved ones! xo

It doesn't get cold here at all! But the cozy indoors, family time, and food are always things that keep me warm and happy no matter the temperature!

I feel dumb because I say the same things over and over again on this blog- it's just it's always so beautiful over here!

I'm looking forward to my next two weeks off. Well, I kind of have them off. I'm looking forward to resting my sore body.

I'm kind of glad for the unseasonably warm temps just cause it seemed to be freezing in NYC this time last year. I'm looking forward to my husband being off next week and seeing friends and family.

Happy first day of winter to you, too! This may be the first year EVER in my life that we have not had snow and I am loving it so much. I mean we have had a few dustings, but nothing that stays around - so that is what I am enjoying this year - means I get to wear my heels outside longer without having to worry about the salt.
Much love,
B

This is my first Christmas spent in Spain. Today I had sunglasses on, and had to take off my jacket as it was so warm. It just din't feel festive or seasonal. Bring on the cold, frost and snow. I know there is no chance here, but even some grey, cloudy days would feel more seasonal ;-)

Today I didn't even need a coat. Crazy!

Love a winter wonderland and I'm sure one is in our future. Now, if it could just look like that last photo!!

The weather is way too mild here. It does not feel like Christmas outside at all. I would like a few flakes of snow and a little crispness in the air this time of year.

I was also looking forward to a white Christmas here in Sweden, but it's unseasonably warm right now and no snow in sight... I'm now mostly looking forward to celebrating New Years Eve in Paris!

Have a wonderful Christmas Sweetie!

You have a much better attitude than I do about no white Christmas. I am very disappointed and find is much harder to get into the holiday spirit when it is 66 degrees out. I'm still hoping for a Christmas miracle!
