Good morning, loves! And happy Friday! What do you all have on tap this weekend? Oscar parties anyone? Can't wait to get all glammed up to watch the show with our friends on Sunday night. Oh and of course I can't wait to see the arrivals. That's really my favorite part. :)
Before then, I'll be on overdrive trying to see all of the Oscar best picture nominees before the awards. Unfortunately our big pact/challenge might not be achieved. Despite having carefully planned it all out {and I'm talking seriously planning. A calendar and chart to coordinate the schedules of 4 participants}, we still haven't seen them all.
Some movies went out of theaters or were playing at inconvenient times {yes War Horse I'm talking about you. Only 12pm & 3pm showtimes during the work week? Don't people have jobs???} So we'll see how it goes. I'm going to do my best to try to squeeze in the remaining three before the show.

I hope you get it all in there, it is a lot, but just do your best! The screening times do seema bit off, I would think people would be working at that time too. It will be fun anyhow and exciting when the awards begin, I like seeing thrm come in too!! Have fun and enjoy!! xoxo

I look forward to the Oscars every year too. I love watching the Red Carpet (and E afterpary). Love to see who's wearing what, and hair & makeup, ect. You've done so well with watching the movies. I didn't see all of them either, but from what I did see I'm routing for the Help. I thought it was such a great movie. I'll be watching in my pj's on the couch. Hardly glamorous, but I'll pretend : ) Enjoy the party!!!

I saw The Descendants over the weekend and thought it was well acted but just sort of depressing in general. I don't know if it's just me, but I haven't seen a movie I really love in awhile. I think the quality of movies just isn't what it used to be. I like movies that stay with you after you leave the theatre but those are few and far between. I'm laughing because you will find any excuse to dress up!! Your friends sound fun. Wish I were there. xo

I haven't seen one in YEARS but I definitely love reading the recaps after. Makes for some awesome eye candy on Monday posts.
I can't wait for the red carpet (of course!) although I haven't seen all the movies and feel a bit guilty. I hope you get to squeeze in War Horse, which I haven't seen but wanted to, wasn't a huge fan of Extremely Loud..
