Monday Morning

nullPhotobucketnull

Good morning, loves! And happy Monday to you all! How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun?

My weekend didn't turn out quite as I had planned. Saturday I ended up going to visit my mother in law for her birthday. Turns out the only present she wanted was for us to come help her clean her home so that's what we ended up doing for 5+ hours. It was a lot of work, still feeling sore, in fact, but very rewarding. The place looks great and she's so happy. And Sunday was a great day filled with lots of sport watching. A hockey game in the afternoon followed by the Super Bowl at night. All in all it was a good weekend. I just didn't get to delve into any of my creative projects that I've been meaning to do. Ah, there's always next weekend :)

But for now, it's time to start a brand new week. Planning on starting the day with a nice relaxing bath today to ease my sore muscles.

Have a lovely day, sweets!

xoxo

Cleaning yes, a good deal of that makes the muscles sore indeed. I was bit too enthusiastic last week cleaning the floors, my back is still telling me;) Your weekend sounds nice though. Hope your week is too!

Oh well it was super nice and thoughtful of you to help out your mother in law. i am sure she really appreciate it. What kind of fun creative projects do you have going on? Can't wait to hear more...

It was Superbowl madness over here....yay Giants (and I am not even a football nut) but the energy was contagious. Well, you know those sore muscles you have? Multiply that by 14 which is what I have been doing every day for 2 weeks, unpacking, cleaning, organizing, sore muscles is an understatement:) But I bet you made your MIL very happy!

cleaning for 5 hours is not exactly my idea of a fun weekend but hey, the place must be quite clean and I love that ;-)

I think Madonna rocked the show!

The perfect gift...time and good company.

My weekend was one relaxing, entertaining moment after the next.

Have a "sweet" Monday. (cupcakes, chocolate....something yummy.)

OMG, Dawn! I'd rather buy her an expensive box of chocolates, a trip to Paris, or a pashmina shawl. She is a smart woman getting you two to clean her place!! This made me chuckle. xo

Ha! Smart MIL and you are so sweet to do that! I agree, house chores are so tiring. No matter how I try I can't seem to find a way to make it fun - laundry.. when it's done it smells good? Hope you can tackle some of those items on your to-do list this week!
