The Power of Chocolate

nullnullPhotobucket

Good morning, sweets! How is the week treating you so far?

Seems I had a bit of a long weekend hangover because I had one hell of a time getting back into the swing of the work week yesterday. Too many meetings, too little time. I didn't even get to eat anything until later in the evening once I was home.

I crashed out on the couch with absolutely no energy to do anything never mind go into the kitchen to get something to eat. Luckily I had some delicious chocolate left over from Valentine's Day last week within arms reach. Two bites later I felt an instant surge of energy and was able to take care of the evening duties. It's a magical thing, I tell you. :)

Enjoy the day, lovelies!

xoxo

I can totally relate! Some days after work you just want to lay down and stay down. I will try the chocolate boost, it doesn't seem like a difficult thing to do in order to get some energy :) xoxo

Yup... agree. Chocolate is my middle name. Sounds like a long day, hopefully today will be a bit less harried. xoxo

I find that if I don't have a nap around 3pm I'm going to be awful for the rest of the evening. Luckily my work allows for 3pm naps in my bed at home! Looking at the photos...I'm about to pass on the chocolate for that gorgeous hair!!!

life would be so utterly boring without chocolate ;-)

I hope today you'll find your rhythm at work!

Chocolate is the best medicine to cure any kind of day! I say that as I just polished two mini cupcakes for breakfast... must be a sweets thing! :) I hope today brings you a little more calm... nothing worse than running wild the first day back at work! Make it a better one, love.... and remember that chocolate, even if it's 8am! xo

Dawn, this is so true. If anything, visit zchocolat.com these are simply divine. We ordered them for an event we had at the office and I am still receiving e-mails of people who are in love with these chocolats.

Oh I hear you - I've always been a chocolate junkie... the darker the better! After not being able to stand chocolate for three months due to morning sickness I'm now finally able to enjoy it again... it's heaven!

Oh yes - chocolate can do wonders to keep you going on those crazy busy days. This week has been busy - not sure why, but I keep running around. Hope today is a little less crazy for you! And if it's not, guess eat some more chocolate - or make J take you out tonight?!
Much love,
B

I love it! The power of chocolate is a thing to be hold, most definitely. :) I hope you get your energy back - I know it can be soooo difficult to get back into the swing of things after a break. I find that breaks in my routine are amazing but sometimes it takes days for me to get my stride again!

The photos are so warm....and lovely. Just last week I needed a boost of energy, so I got a Snickers. It has been YEARS since I've done that..it was worth it. I got the energy I needed and it put a smile on my face.

Happy Wednesday!

I can totally relate. Sometimes it is so hard to get back into the work week after the weekend, especially after a wonderful weekend like the one you just had.

Chocolate, it is a magical thing. I debated on giving it up for lent, but remembered I did it a few years ago and how terrible it was. but then again, perhaps that means I should. I really need to make a decision already! :)
