Sunny Days & Tulips

nullPhotobucketPhotobucket

Good morning, loves! Lately I've been loving waking up in the morning. Well, maybe love is too strong a word. Perhaps I should say I don't really mind waking up in the morning.

I'm so enjoying waking up to the sunshine pouring through my windows. The days are getting longer and I feel like spring is so close that I can almost taste it. J surprised me with a big bouquet of tulips yesterday at work for absolutely no reason at all. And today it's going to be near 70 degrees in NYC and that is pretty unheard of for this time of year.

So these days I'm just content to sit back and bask in the happiness that comes along with spring. :)

Hope you all have a lovely, sunshine day!

xoxo

Agreed!! Spring IS definitely in the air and as much as I was hemming and hawing over one more snow fall....I am ready to bring up being able to open windows, hearing the birds sing and having fresh colorful flowers everywhere!

That is so sweet! You're lucky to have these beautiful days and I don't doubt you enjoy it to the fullest. We don't have lots of sun these days but when its there Ollie sure knows how to find a spot where to lay down for a sun bathing session, so adorable;)

What a lovely surprise to receive such beautiful tulips! You are so lucky that spring is arriving; it is nothing but grey skies here, so I'm just going to have to live vicariously through your posts ;) xx

J is the best and sweetest... what a thoughtful gesture! I love tulips... nothing says spring more! :) I'm with you girly... waking up early isn't so bad. I've been finishing my morning runs while the sun comes up and it's beautiful... today I was even sweating and sneezing... springs right around the corner! Pretty post, sweets!

It does make a difference to waking up to sunlight pouring in. During the winter Jared has to wake up and drive to work in the dark, then come home in the dark - hes so much happier when the days start to get longer and he sees more sunlight :)

Yes - I am loving the sun and seeing it in the morning. I even heard birds chirping outside my window this morning as I was getting ready - what a lovely start to the day!
Much love,

Hi Dawn,

Getting flowers is one of the best things, especially if it is out of the blue. Enjoy the weekend, and your beautiful Spring days.

What a sweet gesture the tulips are! Beautiful.
It is hot down here in the south too! We didn't have a winter this year. I'm still waiting on a white Christmas.
Happy Friday.

I hope you had a wonderful day, Dawn, but when the sun is up and the spring is right there, I see no reason to have a bad day! I am also buying from time to time flowers to keep them on my office and each time the flowers make my day!
