Fresh Start

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Good morning, loves! And welcome to a brand new week.

I needed a little freshness to get me going this morning and what is more fresh than aqua, right? Also, I've had it on my mind quite a bit since visions of the beach house have been prancing around my head. It's only 5 days away now so the countdown has officially begun!

Had a nice and relaxing weekend. Looking back on what I had planned, I managed to get the mani/pedi, lots of sleep and flowers in. Didn't quite get around to the bath part but I did squeeze in some more fun.

Saturday we had a relaxing day and later that night our friend, who I might add, is a student at The French Culinary Institute!!!, prepared a to die for meal for us.  Four courses and it was unbelievably delicious. Yeah, I'm pretty spoiled, it's true :)

Then Sunday we celebrated Seis de Mayo {never got around to celebrating Cinco on Saturday...} with a Mexican brunch.  Delicious.  I basically ate my way through the weekend and I thoroughly enjoyed each and every minute.

All in all a great weekend and I have a wonderful weekend ahead to look forward to. What did you all do this weekend?

Have a wonderful day, sweets!

xoxo

Dawn, sounds like a lovely weekend indeed. I had a fab weekend, too, more relaxing than I usually have with time to read and spend time in the sun ... what a treat! I end up working so many weekends but I'm trying to change my schedule a bit so that doesn't happen as often! We close on our new house on Friday if all goes as planned (but we're not moving in till mid-June) so I want to be free next weekend to begin the yard work at the new place and figure out the first of many paint colors inside, etc! Happy week, love!

What a yummy weekend you had Dawn and that 4 course meal must have been heavenly. I think many of us carried the Cinco De Mayo celebration on to the next day ;) I've had my fill of margaritas, chips and salsa ~ so good!

I like the aqua! It's so fresh and don't you love that cover the model is wearing in your first image!!??

"I basically ate my way through the weekend" ... this, my friend, is the quote of the week! Love it ;-)

I was just catching up on all your beautiful posts, which is so much more fun than unpacking. Why don't these boxes just unpack themselves?!!

That sounds like the most relaxing weekend. The last couple of weekends were quite busy for us, so we decided to stay in, have great wine, watch movies, sleep in till late and browse for pretty things.
Aqua is the most eye pleasing color ever. I am currently obsessing over everything green. As a matter of fact I splurged on a beautiful pair of green earrings recently.

I always look forward to reading your posts. Okay. Looking at them more, because your posts have the prettiest colors. Can't wait for your next post!

Love,
Dip-tea

Sounds like you had great food over the weekend. I'm counting down the days until I'm on a boat.

What kind of flowers are those? They look awesome.

I love your life!!! Always so fun.

I was at a Derby party (hat and all) on Saturday...but in the city last Friday. So, I guess that was Cuatro de Mayo. Had the best meal at La Esquina off Kenmare! Can not wait to go back. Have you been there?

Glad you had a lovely seis de Mayo! We had a great quatro de Mayo here, or as Bono would say "catorce de Mayo". And who argues with Bono? *smiles*
