Morning Beauties!

Photobucket
PhotobucketPhotobucket

Happy Monday, lovelies!  And welcome to a brand new week!  Hope you all had an incredible weekend.

Back to a more polished existance for a few days.  It's so funny, being at the beach a few days a weeky is amazing and all but there is something very nice about coming back to normal life and the pretty things.  Not saying the beach isn't pretty.  But you know, it's a more casual beachy approach to life.

Planning on blowing my hair out, putting on a pretty dress and picking up some flowers on the way to work today.

What little ways will you make your life pretty today?

xoxo

I will be visiting a nursery to pick up some blooms for my modest patio. A little bit of color can do wonders, don't you think?

I see salmon color everywhere.

PS: I know what you mean, I love the East Coast better than the West Coast for precisely this reason. Casual is good, but there is only this much I can take of it.

Have a fabulous and creative week!!!

The beach is wonderful but it does a number on pedicures, hair, etc. Sometimes it's good just to take a nice long shower at home and not feel sandy! xo

Happy new week dear! I so know what you mean-- beach life is just a bit more low-maintenance. Both that and the prettier life have their upsides! I love that you posed that question because it's really made me think how I will add some pretty to my life this week. I'm thinking a new candle and a frame for the letter I've been wanting to mount for a long time might be it!

I know exactly what you mean... :) Normal life that you know is sometimes the best sunshine to the soul... although the beach is pretty much just as amazing, but at least you can appreciate both... and you're able to enjoy both! :) Love all the pretty sunsets you've been uploading... gorgeous post, sweets! xo

Fresh flowers never fail to add beauty in my life,
and of course a new bag and heels would too.

Now that I am back from frolicking in the mountains and being in touch with my inner hippie, I threw on a fun new dress and blazer to polish me up for the office. Hope your day is off to a great start!!
Much love,

I love these images and the pop of purple/pink flowers! It's so true, it's great to get back to the civil things after time at the beach--I'm getting roots touched up and my nails done today :)

Would you believe I've been ironing?! With the most wonderful scented ironing water. Nothing like sleeping on a fragrant, pressed pillow case for beauty rest! :)

Happy Monday, Dawn!

I believe to fully appreciate the wonderful vacation or free time, we need to experience life with dead-lines and commitments. After all that beach time :) it feels wonderful to blow the hair out and get dressed, right?

Enjoy your week Dawn!
