Rise & Shine

Good morning, loves! And happy Monday. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

I ended up not going to the beach after all this weekend. The weather was bad on Saturday so I stayed in the city and caught up on life a bit. And then yesterday we went out to Long Island and visited Js mom for the day. Overall it was a nice weekend. Oh and I did stop by a beach for like 2 minutes On Sunday to take a quick peak at the sea. :)

So here we are at Monday morning already. Are you all ready to start the week? Not sure that I am but since there's no choice I'm gonna go ahead and roll with it :)

Have a wonderful start to the week, sweets! Can't wait to catch up with you all.

xoxo

Beautiful. Sorry you didn't get out and the weather was terrible. The weather was ok here, it's getting cold again, but I don't mind as long as it doesn't rain. Here's hoping the week will be grand!! xx

Happy Monday, Dawn! I'm back from a London trip, so I think it will take me two days to adjust to the work week. Wishing you a wonderful start to the week! xo

I'm not ready for Monday yet but it's here so I guess there's not a lot of choice :) I am hoping to get to Ulta today because Butter London is buy 1 get 1 - that would make Monday better!

Love that last photo so much! I have to keep my nightstand clutter free because the cat has a habit of jumping up and knocking everything down, but it would be so nice to be able to keep some sweet little trinkets nearby. Sounds like your weekend was a good one, it was all too short here, but since Monday is here you're right--we just have to roll with it :)

Sounds like a good weekend, even though it wasn't what you had planned. I am so not ready for the week, but that is probably due to being up until 3am after a wedding yesterday - but nonetheless I am here facing the day full force with coffee in hand!
Much love,
B

I don't blame you for stopping quickly to see the sea... actually just wrote about that today on my site. So powerful, and so important.

Hello love! Isn't it amazing to have one of those stay-in days to catch up on as little or as much as you need to? I've become such a homebody lately, really savoring those moments and bypassing the nights out :) PS I switched back to Travel Babbles (I'm crazy, I know) so xokym.com is a deadzone and www.travel-babbles.com is back in action :) xoxo

Hi Dawn!
It truly felt like a little pre-fall today! My boys are only on their 2nd full day of school, so we're slowly getting into the swing of things.

It's nice to have days to catch up. Almost as good as a day at the beach!

Its cool and crisp here today. I guess it's time to let go of summer weather we want to or not. We went to the beach on Sunday as well. It was chilly, but nice to sit and watch the waves. Back to reality today. So glad Monday is over. Have a wonderful week~
