Let The Sun Shine In!

It's finally Thursday and I couldn't be happier! Well actually I will be happier tomorrow when I say it's Friday. Or even happier when I don't have to have to wake up early on Saturday. Lately I've found it so difficult to get out of bed in the mornings. I'm missing the bright light streaming through the windows to gently wake me up from my slumber. These days it's pitch dark when I wake up and my body just wants to turn over and snuggle my blankets. I think I'm going to have to invest in a sun lamp and put it on some sort of timer :)

Soothing Strolls

Happy mid-week, darlings! Fall brings so many little pleasures, doesn't it? Leaves changing colors, fabulous fashion, boots, tights and amazing outerwear, a return to warm coffee and those amazing leisurely days spent taking in the sights of the city. I love nothing better than hitting the streets on a cool autumn day. Everything seems to slow down a bit and I feel like I could walk for miles strolling by fabulous shops, quaint cafes, beautiful architecture and neighborhood parks. It's a little feast for the eyes.

And since the days are shorter this time of year I even try to get out during the work day for a brief stroll and a little glimpse of daylight. It just feels so indulgent and good for the soul.

I am so beyond in love Rosa Cha's latest collection. The colors, the prints, the cuts of the dresses and swimwear are divine and I can't help but wish the fall and winter away.

Dreamy Delights

Good morning, lovelies. Hope your week is off to a wonderful start. I know it's only Tuesday but I'm already craving a day at home with nothing to do but indulge in all of life's little luxuries. Nothing's better than lounging around in comfy clothes all day long, cuddling up with a good book, dozing off for a few zzzs every now and again and then getting to wake up to a little sweet treat. Sounds positively blissful to me!

Fall Fabulousness

Loving the mixtures of neutrals here. Camel, grey, & taupe topped with a little leopard for good measure. And the little peak of leg under heavy layers looks so fresh, doesn't it? Not so sure I'd be brave enough to pull it off but she looks fabulous.

Weekend Snapshots & A Winner!

Good Monday morning, lovelies! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. As you can probably tell from the photos, I finally got to realize my foliage fantasies. My family & I hit the road on Saturday, a picture perfect day. We drove on up to Bear Mountain, Warwick and Sleepy Hollow and were treated to gorgeous views and yummy fall festivities.

We pumpkin picked and ate caramel apples, exactly what I had hopped for. The hills were bursting with vibrant shades of red, yellow, orange and green and then we were treated to the most gorgeous sunset over the most placid pond. The mirrored reflection of the sky and the trees over the pond was so magical. Only the darkness could make me leave.

Folliage Take Two!

Happy Friday, lovelies! The weekend's finally here and I couldn't be happier! I'm finally feeling all better and am ready to take on this foliage I so long to see. Planning on heading out on a little excursion with J, my sister and brother-in-law to pumpkin pick, sip some cider, eat some caramel apples and at long last spot some magnificent foliage.

Lavender Loveliness

Happy Thursday, darlings! Hope you're all having a wonderful week. Mine's been busy, between fighting a cold and a ton of work, and I'm so happy to finally see the weekend on the horizon.

Today I'm in a lavender mood. There's something so soothing a calming about it. Guess that means I'm in need of a good rest.
