Our Wedding - Ceremony Part Four

The final reading was followed by some personal closing remarks. At our first meeting back in March Rev. Daniel asked J & I to discuss our relationship. To give her a little history and insight about our lives. In the months that followed she asked us a bunch more questions individually. She took that information and wrote a beautiful summary of how we both feel about each other & our relationship.

Personal Closing Remarks

Next up was the benediction....

Benediction
May every blessing and grace be yours. May your love grow stronger and deeper with each passing year. May joy and delight fill your home. May daily problems not vex you unduly, nor the desire for earthly possessions dominate your lives. May you find peacefulness and beauty, challenge and gratification, humor and insight, healing and renewal, love and wisdom in your life together. May you have true friends to stay by you in joy and sorrow. With wise and generous hearts, may you help all who come to you in need of comfort. And may you reach a ripe old age together, content for having lived a life of goodness, worth and love.

Followed by the pronouncement....

Pronouncement
Jennifer, Dawn, you have pledged your love and commitment to each other with the joining of hands and the exchange of rings and vows witnessed by your community of loving friends and family. By the authority vested in me, it is my great pleasure to pronounce you married.

And then finally the kiss!
