Hi everyone!!
It's Christine here from Bijou and Boheme and I'm beyond excited to be visiting today...truly honoured!
For my post, I decided to take inspiration from the beauty of the royal wedding
Like millions of people around the world, I was utterly enchanted by the gorgeous ceremony...the stunning royal couple, the lovely tree lined aisle, the perfect gown....the whole thing was quite literally the stuff fairytales are made of.
I was also in awe of the hats, or more specifically, the fascinators.
So with that, I give you a little artistic and editorial look at the fascinating fascinator...I so hope you enjoy!
I seriously need to figure out an event or occasion where I might possibly pull one of these off - they're just so delightful.
xoxo

Christine, I LOVE these hat images next to the drawings, the one really ads to the other. Fabulous idea! Loving the title too;)

Wow!!!! SO GORGEOUS!!!!!! Makes me want to slap on a hat right now! ;)
Wow what a stunningly gorgeous post. I love how perfectly all of the photography fits with the illustrations. Beautious!!!
What a creative guest post! I love David Downtown's illustration of Linda Evangelista. :) Ada
fabulous idea with all the drawings!
I totally adored the hats, too - as I do these beautiful illustrations!
Love, love fascinators! Almost to the point where I wish I were British! I suppose I shall settle for a throwing a "fascinator" party of some sort.
Stunning! I love the illustration that is soooo Linda Evangelista - so beautiful!
pure lovely, Christine. I wish I could wear one of these without feeling utterly ridiculous!!
They look oh-so-chic on the models.
Beautiful post Christine! I adore those illustrations paired with the photos... fabulous! My favorite is the big black bow on the striking redhead! Stunning! And by the way- I SO think you could pull this look off =) xoxo
Oh my goodness. The pairings are amazing. I don't know how you have time to pull all this stuff together but I'm glad that you did!
xoxo girls.
Absolutely stunning images...and I'm with you, where can we head off to and don one of these lovelies??? I'm 1000% on board with fabulous headwear...maybe it will be worked into the park attire??? HA! (c: Beautiful post, my dears.
Gorgeous post as always, Christine. I had a feeling you would love fascinators (they're totally feminine & glamorous).
What I love most about fascinators is their name! I had no idea they were called this and I'm British. Anyhoo, I fabricated my own fascinator, for a royal wedding viewing party, out of a head band and fancy hat from a stuffed doll! Intrigued?

Thank you so much for having me Dawn- was such a treat to visit your stunning blog. Thank you to everyone for your sweet comments as well- loved putting this post together:)
christine, you are the cutest. and you know, i think you could pull of a fascinator like nobody's business. :)
I think it would be a great theme party idea. Girls come with cool hats or floral hairpieces(why do the English get to have all the fun!)then maybe have a photo shoot at the party - walk out with a pic to keep.
sounds fun.. if you cant find a venue then make one! maybe a prize for the prettiest headpiece. Like another hat. just found your site love it.
I was also thrilled with the fascinators displayed at the Royal wedding. My friend and I decided that at an upcoming wedding we would also do this. We got so many compliments! A lot of older people, men and women complimented us on our wonderful 'hats' and said they wished more people would do this! Check out the photo of us at the wedding!
