{Guest Post} Bijou and Boheme

Hi everyone!!

It's Christine here from Bijou and Boheme and I'm beyond excited to be visiting today...truly honoured!
For my post, I decided to take inspiration from the beauty of the royal wedding

Like millions of people around the world, I was utterly enchanted by the gorgeous ceremony...the stunning royal couple, the lovely tree lined aisle, the perfect gown....the whole thing was quite literally the stuff fairytales are made of.
I was also in awe of the hats, or more specifically, the fascinators.

So with that, I give you a little artistic and editorial look at the fascinating fascinator...I so hope you enjoy!

I seriously need to figure out an event or occasion where I might possibly pull one of these off - they're just so delightful.

Christine, I LOVE these hat images next to the drawings, the one really ads to the other. Fabulous idea! Loving the title too;)

Love, love fascinators! Almost to the point where I wish I were British! I suppose I shall settle for a throwing a "fascinator" party of some sort.

Gorgeous post as always, Christine. I had a feeling you would love fascinators (they're totally feminine & glamorous).

What I love most about fascinators is their name! I had no idea they were called this and I'm British. Anyhoo, I fabricated my own fascinator, for a royal wedding viewing party, out of a head band and fancy hat from a stuffed doll! Intrigued?

I think it would be a great theme party idea. Girls come with cool hats or floral hairpieces(why do the English get to have all the fun!)then maybe have a photo shoot at the party - walk out with a pic to keep.
sounds fun.. if you cant find a venue then make one! maybe a prize for the prettiest headpiece. Like another hat. just found your site love it.

I was also thrilled with the fascinators displayed at the Royal wedding. My friend and I decided that at an upcoming wedding we would also do this. We got so many compliments! A lot of older people, men and women complimented us on our wonderful 'hats' and said they wished more people would do this! Check out the photo of us at the wedding!
