Cooling Off

Happy Friday, lovelies! I've fled to the shore for some relief from this heatwave. The second I got on the ferry last night the cool ocean breeze cooled me down.

What are you all up to this weekend? My weekend will include lots of beaching and my cousin's wedding Saturday night in Long Beach. Good thing that's taking place at the beach too because I'll be right back on the sand Sunday morning soaking up all that's left of the weekend.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! See you Monday :) xoxo

You lucky girl, having the ocean so close, and the beach, such a great plan for relaxing! I'll meet up with friends in a mix of strolls through towns and vineyards and hope to find time being just lazy too ;)

Hi! I'm so glad you're having a good time. I almost forgot to answer you back - I'm sorry! Laduree Champs Elysees would be my first choice, but you need (or your friends) need to make a reservation on the second floor which is absolutely best! When it comes to other restaurants in Paris I've never been disappointed. Jusk tell them to ask the hotel about recommendations and they are never wrong. French food is always excellent. At least that's what I have experienced. Have a wonderful Saturday :)

So jealous. One of my dreams is to live in NYC and travel to the Hamptons on the weekends (ala Something Borrowed, Sex & the City, and pretty much any other movie set in Manhattan!). I haven't been to the shore in so long! Have fun at the ocean!!

Hi Dawn,
The downside of a fabulous summer - it's exhausting! :) But, in a good way. So happy Fire Island is treating you well and that your cousin's wedding was so fun.

We're visiting my hubbie's family in Kansas....not very glamorous but a fun change of pace. The boys get to go 4 wheeling and horse back riding. So, good ole summer fun!
