But nothing beats the swanky pool parties. You know the ones where you get a dressed up to sip cocktails and nibble on some finger food all while pretending that you lead this oh so glamorous life. And that maybe, just maybe, that you actually own the fabulous home that the party is being held at. You know what I'm talking about right? OK if I'm alone here then call me a dreamer :)

I love bbqs & picnics but have never been to a pool party we dont really have swimming pools at our homes in England not unless you are mega rich anyway we dont really have enough hot weather :(

Ok this made me just want to hop poolside, grab a glass of bubbly, put on my biggest shades, lots of makeup... feeling all fabulous! Summer parties are the best my friend and this just made me long for my very own pool... someday maybe! Happy day, luv!

I love summer parties! I'm not nearly so glamorous as to be invited to a swanky pool party ... more like a chase toddlers around the lake shore while they try to dive into the deep end kind of party ... but no matter, it's all wonderful when it's summer :)

Beautiful!! I love BBQ's and yes, I like to go to them and pretend I lead a glamorous life (as I make sure their are no little baby/child hand prints on my lovely dress) and why not!?! I love pool parties! When the pool is lit up at night it's so festive and fun.
Oh that sounds wonderful - I would love to go to a pool party on a rooftop or in a gorgeous backyard right about now. I guess sittin gon a patio tonight for a birthday soiree will have to do!

I too, dream of that as well!! I like to pretend that my fire escape is a fabulous balcony! I plan to create a garden full of lush green aka some potted plants. hahah.. but I love summer and all the parties it brings along with it. How fab that your stompin' grounds were GPH, did you know they opened the rooftop to the public?
